Looks like LowVp was right, the points had closed up and the Dizzy was retarded by about 5 degrees. All fixed now. Thanks to everyone who helped. Stewart.

New Symptom: The problem is getting worse, loss of power and mis-firing happens at all levels of accelleration, not just heavy acceleration.

It occasionally mis-fires when cruising, but only under heavy acceleration does it get really bad.

Well actually, I just swapped out the plugs and points and re-timed it myself. Do you think I timed it wrong?

I'm currently running a 4A-C motor with a 32/36 DGAV Weber, recently there have been issues under acceleration, when full throttle is used, or the rev's exceed 4,000rpm (generally when the second valve opens) the engine loses power and seems to stop firing on all cylinders. Anyone have any idea what's wrong? Thanks. Stewart.

Obtaining a learners is done by simply going to a QLD transport office and doing a 5 Question quiz. If you pass, you get your learners. But, you can only get your learners if you have reached your P2 car licence (drive for a year). Once you have the learners you can either do 6 months of learning on the streets (L Plates and supervised by another rider). Or you can do a Q-Ride which is a course which teaches and tests you to obtain a provisional bike license straight up (limited to 250cc on L's and P's). I just want to know where I can get a Q-Ride and how much.

G'day all. After much discussion with my mates, it has been decided that quite a few of us will be aquiring Bike Licenses. I am yet to get my Learners for a bike, but I know that process already. What I wish to ask is, is it best to go through Q-Ride? If so, How would I go about it? How much will it cost? How long will it take? And are there any essentials for Q-Ride I would need to aquire? My 4AC (110,000km) ran a 43kW at the flywheel, I put a Weber on and it run 43kW at the wheels now, about 63 at the flywheel.

Haha, what an awesome weekend (except for the 3am starts). Heaps of fun setting up the stages and having a run through them, also great spectating when i got the chance. Especially the Speed on Tweed Super Special Stages.

When i bought my KE70, we didnt have a key that worked on it. so i had to tow it home and get custom keys made. It was only when i had the customs keys and was tearing out the back seats to do some wiring that i found the original key lodged in the sound-reducing foam between the boot and the back seat.
