Five years on and I own this car now.... changed just a bit too

It sure is fun trying to sell a KE70 :(

Sometimes I think people who pay for things to be posted expect that they will receive the item almost immediately once their payment clears like they would if they bought it in a shop. So when the item doesnt arrive the next day they immediately go into overdrive thinking the item is not being sent and the seller is a fraud. This only happens to some not all. I have been accused of it, and some times due to work commitments it has taken me longer to post things than it should. You bought from a person who has been here for upwards of 5 years... who has zero reason to rip you off.. ZERO. That right there should have been assurance enough. Anyway, all I was getting at was some people need to chill out a bit when having things sent, it is a bit of work and can take a while. Relax

A 4age in a ke20 would be more than adequate. Add some cams or something for more grunt. At least it will still be driveable. There is such a thing as too much power

Why Do You Think We Need A Govt??
LukeAE71 replied to altezzaclub's topic in Rollaclub Social (Off-Topic)
All the desal plant did is make the companies involved with the construction rich. It is now another reason SA is considered a joke and a backwater -
I have a set of those steelies here. No hubcaps though. Have always found the hubcaps easy to find with a bit of patience.

Probably moisture in the plug. Let it dry and then worry about it. You arent going to lose oil pressure suddenly in a stock k engine assuming this stock. I would say keep driving it and plug it back in in a few days.

Only type of surf worth having

Have thought about fitting the lower part of efi manifold which has the thernostat etc fitted to it. Then make carb manifold to suit that? Would be long inlet tract that all.

That ke26, ke20 and ke30 parts thread being closed. I was just warming up. I figured since the seller placed zero effort into his ad I would place zero effort into my enquiry. Ads like that should be deleted without warning or pm. Just delete.

Doesn't it stand for Japanese Domestic Market? If so.... how can any modified car be JDM? Once they have strayed from stock they are no longer domestic Market cars...

That is everything I love about the 80s

No idea yet... busy concentrating on finding real good parts to use for assembly and putting car back together. Have a spare wagon here for engine butchering and such

I saw one once about toilet paper. It said like if you use it or comment if you don't. Seriously ;)

Plenty of people are into Corollas just not so much the new ones. That's because they became appliances with about as much aappeal as a fridge.

Seeing Superman in my local Supercheap Auto. Especially since he was wearing a Hannah Montana hat. Mark90 would know what I am on about ;) I would have introduced myself if I could have held back the tears of laughter. A special unit that one...

And after nearly 8 months we have some (small) progress. I had all my front trims and KE25 grille painted and I fitted them over the weekend. Everyone likes pics though so I have included some for your enjoyment. Bumper just needs some final alignment then the front end is complete. Onto the engine bay next....
