  1. :| Read the faq section, just about every thing you need to know is there
  2. Yeah you do not get charged for full stops :D
  3. You could go the back (?) way to Angaston through the Freeway, Onkaparinga Valley Road and then through Mt Torrens and that. That route would combine some hills but not crazy twisty action, scenery and no posing at all. The perfect route for all tastes perhaps?? If you get a good day weather wise it would be magic up there :|
  4. I do wonder whether people think about how they will feel about their piercings and tatts in a few years. Especially the stretch ones..... they are wack :|

you are a total car whore, seriously I never know what car to look out for when I go past your place :|
  6. Not wanting to continually hijack but I have a pair of beige seats, $20 and you can have them. Need to pick up though
  7. Remove 4AC chuck what you don't need in the bin. Replace with 4AGE 16V or 20V Done
  8. Funny thats the same pic I have as inspiration for the wagon I have at home. That thing is hot in all ways :lolcry:
  9. It complies with the general rule, rim out, tyre in. As I understand it Boso is a styling from the early 80's with so called street racer gangs. It is more about outrageous modifications and bodykits rather than their effectiveness on the car. I personally love it, but can tell you that those cars would last about 10 seconds on Aus Roads firstly due to the crap state of the roads and secondly you would get defected to hell in Adelaide with something like that :lolcry:
  10. Put a pic of your Corolla in there, that actually looked good and tasteful imho :lolcry:
  11. Well first post in here but it is worthy Firstly it is my birthday today. Oh and the wife just went to the Doctors and..... She is pregnant Best Birthday Present Ever
  12. Tyre stretch etc is all part of the theme/style. Watch some old school option DVD's and that and you will get into it. It only suits a small variety of cars anyway, not newer type corollas or any other type of new car really :hmm:
  13. We went out for breakfast... Then spent the afternoon waterskiing with some friends. I got the privilege of knocking my wife off the biscuit on Valentine's Day and getting away with it. I still have bruises from that trip :hmm:
  14. Why is it that your sig states no pictures of Toranas yet you still have one in your avatar?? And yes I am a sensitive viewer and would not like to see that blasphemy on this site everytime I open it KTHXBI :hmm:
  15. I don't have a pic, but it is a factory chrome strip on all KE70's Sedan and Wagon. It may not have come on yours because it is a commercial vehicle or something or the original owner may have removed it. I have a feeling they (may) actually hold water in and make it rust easier but I am no expert. It is purely an aesthetic item and clips over the gutter rail you have on the side of your roof. Like I said you are welcome to it and if you don't like the look of it at the end of the day you can chuck it in the bin which is exactly what I am going to do but thought not to put a good part to waste if you want it. I don't want any money for it..... :hmm:
  16. Is there any reason why you do not have the chrome strips on there that run up the door and along the side of the roof?? Did you take these off to fit the roof rack or do they not exist?? If you want some, I have a set on my wagon which you are welcome to. I will be removing them shortly and they will be going in the bin if noone wants them.
  17. Cheers for that. That link though pretty much argues to and fro about the DLI converters and at the end of the day they are expensive and don't offer the extra performance ability down the track. Thanks for your help, much appreciated. So much to learn about this conversion, just can't wait to actually be driving it, very excited. :hmm: I seem to recall though that you have posted somewhere else that BT is not as strong internally as ST. This is why I have chosen ST not to mention the cost of the one I found. :no2:
  18. Dude this is a Corolla related forum :hmm: IBTL
  19. Biggest thing to look for in my opinion would be the rust as most (not all though) suffer pretty badly in this area. Around the boot area and rear wheel arches is where most of it is. Also look in the boot, if it has been leaking there will be rust appearing down the sides of the boot area and this will eventually break through to the wheel arches and really means the car will fall apart in the event of an accident. Also look for rust in the engine bay and chassis rails. Bugger it just look for rust everywhere.... :hmm: Other than that, take it for a drive, see if it drives ok, is it smokey etc? If it is the standard 4K motor and he has already had repairs done to it sounds like it will be fine. You have to wonder why someone would spend $2500 on repairs to a 4K though, could have changed it to 4AGE for that money. :no2:
  20. From what I have read, and believe me when I say I have done alot of research, is that you will have to purchase a DLI converter to make things work in a RWD application. Not to mention the fact that the ST is AFM and I will not be using an Airbox (using quads with tube stacks instead). I would not be able to run the ST ECU without an AFM. I could have gotten a BT motor and used the MAP Sensor and DLI kit and this would have worked however I added up the costs and it outweighed the cost of buying a ST and aftermarket computer. BT = $1800 plus DLI = $500 = $2300 ST = $800 (that's what I found one for) + ECU = $1500 = $2300. So I will end up spending the same amount of money but tuneability and upgrades later down the track will be far easier. Sorry for the ranting, just wanted to clear things up. If I am still wrong please help, because I am still gathering parts to make this all work and am trying (as always) to keep costs to a minimum.
  21. Thanks for the info. It's part of an engine package, loom is there, no ecu, gearbox is there, etc etc. That's all I need anyway as I have to go aftermarket ECU as I am changing to RWD format for my AE.
  22. Hi there, I am picking up a 20 valve ST very shortly and it still has the box attached. Just wondered which model the box is, is it C56, C52, etc?? I have no idea with these models. Thanks Luke

Spotted blue KE20 at Crafers Bus Interchange last night. Black stockies and the paint was a blue metallic, definitely not stock paint. Looked nice, still sounded like original motor too, loved it :hmm: Also spotted a KE3X wagon this morning, with sunvisor and stick on? venetians in the side and rear, oh and dumped on its guts but only in the rear.
  24. A little OT but can anyone explain why every clutch pedal box you see is rusted to crap however the auto ones come out overrated. I removed my auto one and it was overrated as. I just can't explain why they would be so different??
