  1. How can you not know how to handle an extra gear??? :P
  2. Is that all??? Some details and pics would be good.
  3. ^^^^ ouch And I doubt you would want to be attempting your own chassis repairs without decent skills mate :P
  4. Take it to a chassis place in Adelaide and get a quote. I would say you would be up for more than a new KE70 would cost you I am afraid. That sort of thing is not cheap to repair imho.

Sorry man.... I drove past it twice, even wrote down the no. plates in case I had yours confused. But it is definitely different, doesn't have all the windows. It was running like 12 slot chromies or whatever they are. At first I just thought it was yours with different rims on but alas it was not. It was parked just down from Nickyboy's house, can't believe he didn't see it. Oh and I spotted Nicky's new KE30 outside his house. Like the venetian, needs to be lower tho and whitewalls and visor. Looks to be fairly clean though with the exception of the rust on the boot. That shits like cancer :hmm:
  6. Man you have some bad luck, your wagon was stolen only a couple of months ago right?? :P
  7. CA18DET - $1200 - $1500 Custom Engine Mounts - $$$$$ Custom Gearbox Mounts - $$$$ Custom Tailshaft - $$$$ Fuel System - $500 Wiring and Tuning - $500 - $1000 You won't get away with this for under $3000 and that is if you do some of the mechanical work yourself.
  8. Any idea on a date for this shindig Thomas?? Can I suggest Sunday 3rd May? Saturdays are no good as some people work and play sports etc. Also, central meet point..... how about ETSA Park??
  9. Yes that would damage the head. Like Red said, you need more leverage. Use a long breaker bar with either a trolley jack handle or water pipe or something that will fit over the breaker bar to get more length and leverage. Watch that you are not slipping on the bolt head though, as the resulting release of pressure could be interesting when you slip. :P

Spotted a white KE70 Pano on West Parkway Saturday afternoon that would give Smeetsys a run for its money in the overrated stakes :y: This thing was overrated as bro :D
  11. Are you crapping on or for real?? We need pics, pics, and more pics :D
  12. Well according to the forum it is Greenmac80's birthday today. Happy birthday Luc!!! :( Now finish your car farken :P
  13. Don't do anything to it, as you will only sell it. Save the money and wait for a KE20 which you will also only sell. Stick to one car farken :P
  14. $20 at the most :P
  15. I'm in for this. If it is towards the end of April mine will be back on the road :lolcry:
  16. Any reason why you didn't contact the Police?? What you thought this guy would just quietly leave and NOT do it to another person's car shortly after you left the area :lolcry:
  17. I'm not sure what's to like. We are being raped over the coals with this stuff. I really now am limited to where I can get money out due to my location (Adelaide Hills) and the fact that it could cost me near on $4.00 to take say $20.00 out at a local ATM which there are none of my bank near me.

    My Ke70

I remember reading somewhere that stripping the interior gives you the equivalent of an extra 4kws via the weight reduction. It is not worth it, if you are doing an engine conversion just add more power to the motor. I drove that Sprinter with no interior and it drove me insane. So noisy and uncomfortable. KE's are rattly enough, you do not need to make them worse :lolcry: Looking good though :laff:

    My Ke70

If you strip the interior you will regret it. :lolcry:
  20. I took the badges off completely. Yes the boot is small on them, fuel tank placement is stupid and no idea why they did that. If you owned one you would be able to put up with the small boot, trust me best car I ever owned. :y:
  21. Post updated on NS, car was recovered today smashed and rolled. Not in a good state by the sounds of things :y:
  22. As a package maybe $1500 or thereabouts. Depends on how complete it is I guess. Why what are you thinking of replacing it with??
  23. This is a real dumb idea and unsafe really... but I did see a cool vid once on NS of some dudes in Adelaide absolutely caning a KE30 out at Port Gawler on the beach there, taking jumps and stuff. In the end they drained the oil and put Coke Zero in the engine, thing was blowing bubbles out the exhaust and kept running far longer than it should have with no oil in it. :)
  24. So you spend all that money to get the same price but a better selling point, all the while having spent more money rebuilding it that you won't recover.... woopdy doo!! Anyway, back on topic, does anyone from a workshop want to specify a cost to remove and refit and rebuild?
