Hey, just wondering if someone would identify this K series head for me? Is it a ke70 4k head maybe? It has a fair few differences to my ke55 4k and I have circled some of them.. Any help would be good as I am trying to figure out weather this head is worth cleaning up or not... Thanks.

Small update, Picked up one of these 8 inch Precision Response subwoofers from Jaycar. For $40 I am impressed! I got it because it was cheap, but i have been looking for an 8" for a while because I had this idea of putting a small sub behind the drivers seat. So it had to be small cos theres hardly any room back there.. I designed the box purely to fit, didn't think about proper sizing for sub specs or anything. One thing I found was that with such a small box it sounded better to have it sealed. I tried ported and it just didn't sound as good. Louder but not as nice. I used random bits of mdf board I had lying around in the shed and some black carpet also already in the shed. Used liquid nails and screws for the box and selleys quick grip for the carpet. Worked a treat. Here's how it came up.. And heres where it sits behind the seat.. Overall pretty happy with how it sounds, not as huge bass as my old 10" alpine that got stolen but then again that was just silly and the space it took up in the back was annoying... For a total of around $50 can't complain! :dance: :dancetall: Finally can hear my evil basslines again :evil: And the rockin ones :rock: and the funky ones :elvis: and the brown paper bag on head ones?? :paperbag:

My mum has one similar to this :lolcry: She had/has similar problems.. got the oil leak fixed i think but there are various small electrical problems still eg. brake light is always on. Feels nice to drive though :wink:

Hey mate, had a similar problem with my rolla. Turned out to be an obviously faulty wire in the indicator/lights assembly.. your best bet would be to take it out and have a look. its pretty easy to get to, just get your steering wheel off, then the cover around the ignition barrel, then just have a look. If you can't find whats wrong just go to the wrecker and grab another one.

i saw a yellow ke36 ute on car sales a while back and it looked kinda odd if u ask me. But I'm massively wagon biased so.. yeah. It could work I guess, I reckon it would look ok with different tail lights. Just as long as you don't get half way through and then junk it, that would be a pity. It seems like a pretty clean shell..

Poor panel van :( why don't you just fix the darn thing. It would be sweet! Give it a quick paint job and get it running...
