  1. It's been a while since I have updated but now the time has come.. I picked up some rims from otomoto. They are August Feróce AF-1 14x7 offset zero. Build date is 12/80 so pretty similar age to the car. Required minor restoration job because they came with paint flaking and in need of some love... also without centre caps which was a bit annoying but oh well.. Heres how they came.. So i stripped the paint.. Then painted them.. And that took me about 3 months hahaa. During this time i also picked up a nice roof rack from u pull it and decided i no longer wanted dirty cream interior. So I got out the ol' vinyl spray and painted the side panels black put new grey carpet in the back and got some black seat covers. Looks much better I think.. Nice day today so i got some pics.. Interior GPS! CHEERS!

  6. That reminds me.. saw this on ebay and thought u might wanna grab it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1977-79-Toyota-Corolla-te31-ke30-3tc-Metal-Hood-Trim-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem45f6e06edcQQitemZ300494647004QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_500wt_1182 I also have a spare set of rear vents here, if your interested we could sort something out.

  10. hey mate, I had the same problem when I put extractors on. I used a file to make the stock inlet mani the same level. Worked a treat. Good luck. :y:
  11. Reverse eyes get my vote for lowering, its better than resetting because it doesnt deform the spring arch or something, even worse with flipping?.. It will lower it something like the 2-3 inches you're after, so you will want chop the bumpstops in half atleast. I went through a roadworthy inspection with reverse eyes with bumpstops cut in half the only thing they picked up on was the height. aslong as there is something there that stops metal hitting metal. Also you will want it stiffer so add some leaves. I had 1 extra middle leaf and it was better but still wasnt that hard. I am thinking 2 extra leaves.. or just get another whole leaf pack and combine them with reverse eyes + some nice short stroke shocks + all new bushings and it will make a massive difference. You may want to start avoiding pot holes once you've done this though

  14. Recently went for a bit of an adventure down Yankalilla way. Arrived at night.... Next day... Nice place :) Just rollin getto on stockies at the moment because my jellybeans are off the car ready to sell. Should have some 14x7s by summer WOOOOT ! Not much else happening with it other than that. Few things brewing away but no real progress. Trying to save up some cash for more goodies and more adventures too  Dammit I want some nice oldschool chrome roof racks!
  15. Good to hear u got rego.. and i definately agree its better without a lip. Everything else is looking awesome keep it up.

  17. Ok everyone, interested to see what is the most popular corolla on this site. If you are wondering what generation is what, I have used the list on wiki as a guide and it goes something like this.. First generation (E10) Second generation (E20) Third generation (E30, E40, E50, E60) Fourth generation (E70) Fifth generation (E80) Sixth generation (E90) Seventh generation (E100) Eighth generation (E110) Ninth generation (E120, E130) Tenth generation (E140, E150) Also post up your choice and a brief reason why. Have fun :)
  18. Hey just wondering if anyone knows what happened to KEmotorsport.com and his pages on here are gone too.. ?
  19. i was also getting that on here, ae86dc and toymods too.. i doubt its much to worry about just google being paranoid. especially if you have a mac :D. I just turned off the security setting in firefox that blocks attack sites or whatever..and now its gone :)
  20. So if you get an upgraded booster and mc do you need to upgrade the calipers and disks or will it still make a good improvement using stock brakes?
  21. :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh: NICE!
  22. Though about bike carbs? This will the path I take if/when I upgrade from single stock carb. Other than the manifold and tuning side of things it looks fairly easy. And probably a lot cheaper than webers with comparable performance (from what I have read anyway), They have linkages already attached too which is a bonus, and it has been done a few times so there's a bit of info around the place here's some from rollaclub - Tommys Ke11 with them - http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=19886&st=90 Info - http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=38592 - http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=17853
  23. wow where did you find this one!? looks very clean. good luck with it :y:
  24. Hey mate, the venetians off ebay should fit fine as long as you order it for the right car and they say they can do it for ke36 etc, then you should be all good. I got some for my old ke55 and although they were expensive they were solidly made, very good quality... worth it for sure.. anyway keep it up, look forward to seeing more progress. cheers
