UpDaTe TiMe ;) This weekend was quite good, more work done. 1) Went and saw Mr. Upholstery, re: this pic.. He like the idea, and doenst have any troubles with it. Made some suggestions, and I'm hooked! Have a look at these.. 1 = Red velour = S on seat picture 2 = Black velour = S on seat picture 3 = Black hole? leather = V on seat picture 4 = Black velour = Not suing anymore & Black marine vinal for the V1 on the pic. Now, thinking of getting something like "GT Twincam" embroided into top of seats at front.. not sure yet. We all think its going to look s*it hot :D Back seats will be in the same design also. Roof lining is the other thing thats getting upholstered; goin a greyish colour = simply because black is too dark, and hot, white would stand out, yet grey wouldnt. Besides, its roof lining, its not the first thing you look at when you see a car :( - Possibly may get twin stripes down the middle in a black? just to kinda link it all together.. more thinking to be done. Back to the mechanical sides of things, at much expense *shudders* ive got new brake lines all round, and caliper overhaul kits. Old calipers turned out to be foobared, so need to get 1 more set of those for the front, and the brake pads i purchased originally.. its going to be interesting to see how the work.. i don't want noisy brakes. Justin worked religiously as per usual on the pedal box, cut a long story short - its basically in, and brake booster is needed to go any further. I'm pretty confident that the one we are using is ok, and if theres any troubles with brakes, when the cars goin, ill just get that attended to later on. It looks in good condition for the record. :( I sanded down another fuel line (taking sooooooo long); weather was getting too cold, so one of the lines we painted (fuel return, gold) started to blush. Will repaint weekend after next (rally next weekend) & by then, theres not much more thats needed for underneath the car! :lock:

these threads give me the craps. So many different views, generally everyone thinks they are correct. Good thing tho, most people in here have there head screwed on the correct way :y: haha lol... I figure, if you look after your self, aka for me, thats me; its ok. Stay clear of the incompetent drivers that obviously are a driving danger, and stay out of cars where the drivers are tools. If your in control of the situation in normal circumstances, where your honest to your self, doing the correct thing, then your chances of something going ugly would be quite lower. This doesn't account for the others on the road tho. Re the hole age verse better driving or what not.. Yes, Experience comes with age, Yes older (read it correctly, older not OLD) drivers are better drivers that younger ones. Like food products, theres a best by date, and a used by date. OLD drivers are the same, and without regular testing (not in place in QLD atm..i think?!), there is no knowing how many expired drivers there are floating around. Yes, most of them are in Camry's and the like, but in all seriousness, i sometimes wonder how some of these OLD drivers are still on the road, and haven't killed anyone yet. But don't get me wrong, ive got another bag full of opinion on young, new drivers, also.

In the industry atm, the 190Kw FWD MPS 3 Mazda has got people talking. Even the blokes at Toyota are raving on about it. Yes, i would love to drive it. Yes, its a new camry. don't get me started on the Pros and Cons.. Personally, i think i could fart more exciting things than the Camry range in general.. well, most of the current toyota range is pretty bland, slow and unexciting. Altho Toyotas in general are really good to work on, some of the ergonomics & designing charastics are... &$$^@%. I was born 40 years too late,

Id personally be worried about the lack of air flow... trying to squeeze 2x amount of air fuel down a pissy little stock manifold, could be intresting... I'm going to say Vote No to this idea, for the fact that your going to end up waist money trying to get this to work, when www.trademe.org or www.ebay.com.au have them popping up ocasionally...

Also, for that pic above ^^ , complments from the boys last night, i scored this cool little assembly from an Ae92 4agze -> using Volt gauge on my dash (yup, you guessed it.. its already striped & being edited ahahaha)

Hey All Update on today: Connected up front sway bar link pin assemblies; Cleaned up, & installed caster bar's (& new bushes) onto car. Wow, what a mole of a job that was.. right wheel on, jack left ball joint, jack up car in middle, put on nut, reverse process, more load on car, let ball joint down.. ughhh etc. After 2 hours or so, it was all completed. Wow, Suspension work is all _ DoNe ! Also, went outo zee shed and found the Fuel & Brake lines / hoses. Taged & de-assembled all the lines, started to clean them up. All up, theres 4 lines grouped. 1 is the rear break line, other 3 are fuel lines (Main, Return, Breather?). Brake line is getting painted bling bling silver, and other 3 fuel lines are getting done in gold. I'm also painting the 8 mounting clips & the 10mm bolts the same bling red as the red used on the motor / pedal box pedals. Also painted the FR brake junction box black. Went down to Tony's (local parts man), ordered new caliper o/h kits for front, and 4x new break lines (Caliper to strut, strut to body Front Left & Front Right + gota sus out rear brake line (diff to body). Also, Hole was made in fire wall (thanks J!) for the clutch m/cyl setup. Ted

Dear All, i did have a whole essay written, but i decided.. screw that, i wont waste any more time that i need to, for your sakes and mine. A Quick note to say that i am slowly (started 6 months ago?), quietly getting annoyed with how things are going around here. Every day, theres a new person bitching about something. A new person asking stupid things, resulting in more bitching. And every day, People in power are trying even harder, and spending more of there valuable time trying to restore order. Some of you people need to clean your acts up, and ffs.. STOP abusing admin, I'm sick of reading the trash that some of you people are turning out each day, thick and clear. And for all of you sub 20 post wonders that keep on making topics like "does a ** fit into a ****" - I know most of us are getting to the point where we are just not replying, and shouting to the screen "WE don't CARE! UGH WHAT HAPPENED TO COMMON SENSE!" Yes i Completely understand that some of you need help, and we are happy to ! But for gods sake, use some sense... and the search button :D And for the rest of you that are doing a good job at keeping rollaclub the great place its always been, a credit to you. don't get me wrong, i really do love this place, and get annoyed when i can't check back here daily ! Ive met so many good people through here.. IF you have been wondering why ive been so quiet lately, theres your answer.. or i could put it this way.. :y:
