also depends how much timing your running. if i ran 28 degrees it wont idle under 1200 rpm. if i run 22 degrees it idles at a lump 600 rpm :D

28/36 I'm running 135 mains and 150 secs. 170 main air correction and 195 sec (i think) 50-55 idles

didnt even plug the tacho in. when it was connected it wasnt getting a reading and no spark from the coil i was getting 12v to pin 16 witch is the neg side of the coil? module got warm

ive tried 6. only thing else I'm thinking is the air gap in the dissy?

tried agian tonight and nothing used the old coil and nothing cracked the shits and wired the dissy straight to the coil :y:

I tried swapping them around and still nothing. Is there a special coil I need? I'm currently using a vg coil out of a maxima ill check if I'm getting 12v to pin 3

i wasnt seeing any sparks so i was holding the lead while cranking it. no spark. tried earthing the coil ZAPPPPPPPPPPP muscle in my hand started twitching LOL edit - seams a fella from the gemini club had the same problem. seams like the coil isnt like the module

yep tried that from the hole near pin 16. ive tried 3 other igniters and still no spark i connect the dissy straight to the new coil and get a whopper 4cm spark.

hey fellas I'm up to wiring it all up. i played around with it and I'm getting no spark. would pin 3 be a + or - signal from the dissy? its not the coil cause as soon as i earth out pin 15 it sparks? hints on what I'm doing wrong?

straight pipe is off. will take it with me to GOR ;). update coil in. couldnt get spark out of the igniter. 3 dissy neg 7 dissy pos 15 battery/coil pos 16 coil neg/tacho went for a drive with just the new coil. WHAT IN THE ʞ©$ɟ! pulls like a school boy again! it also arc's a 4cm gap and it ʞ©$ɟing big zap aswell trev what am i do wrong?

looks like the thermostat gasket or bottom housing is leaking any white chalky residue around it or near the sump? were you located?

268 duration @ 50thou. mild/wild cam ask tighe if the cam has any advance/retard on it. if it does it will need to be dialed in
