which pump do you speak ok? i see no reason why the lifter couldnt pump fuel thru to the engine bay.

no no, the metal ones would be fine I'm quite sure. i was saying go to either: high pressure lines or metal lines steel braided would be good, but exxy

as you are using a lift pump, why not have the surge tank in the engine bay, along with the efi pump. no need for it to be lower than the tank if using a lifter

maybe...you would have to ask you guy. 70 bucks is alot just to remove a screen.... and more to the point, you should have asked how to remove the metal rods, all you do is rotate them down and then bow them and they will come out. putting the bastards back in is a reversal of this procedure and an absolute headf@$k from memory

i got mine done for the ke70 by a trimmer can't remember but i thought it was ~100 to get it done. all i did is took the original in with the metal rods and everything, and he used the original as a template and then just put the rods thru the new one. then i took it home and put it in and got the windscreens put in. philba, what you may find is that they are quoting you for: 1) removal of front and rear screens 2) removal of original roof lining 3) material 4) making the new lining 5) fitting the new lining 6)putting the front and rear screens back in. with my car, my front screen was f@$ked, and i removed the rear screen myself before i did my paint work. so it was all out already. once i got the lining made i of course had to get someone to come and put the screens back in (after repaint etc) i can't remember what i paid, but my mate paid 55 each to take out and 55 each to put back in. so 220 alone is just windscreen in and out. but that was a mobile guy, not driven somewhere. but if they are doing that i see whyt he price is high

do not put high pressure through the carby lines! either get proper fuel lines made up, or use high pressure efi rubber lines. id go withthe proper metal ones all this is covered on the internet in a few different write ups by the way

2 litre should do nicely. i know of a bloke with a street legal drag rotary who had a 2 litre surge tank, of which he would suck dry in a run. but i doubt you will have such issues :y:

thats my point, theres alot of firewall hole making to fit such a big donk in there

what makes u think that dan? extensive firewall mods would have to be done to get a 4.0L into the engine bay of a ke70

silhouhette, a straight 6...what motor? my 1g is a very tight squeeze, ill measure the bay tonight, but my rad has been moved and the thermos mounted on hte outside inbetween intercooler and radiator. the firewall can be massaged back a fair distance in crucial places to fit a motor, what motor is it ?

on a 4agze i would be saying yes. it seems they are bastards to get to idle at the best of time
