  1. Should be a ball bearing in there too! It goes in before the switch.
  2. Good luck not spending money on this.
  3. KE70s are the shittest cars that attract the shittest crowds (take offense all you scummy KE70 owners). I would so rather a KE20/Datsun/Mazda/something that doesn't have so many bogan admirers. Sometimes I'm actually ashamed to own one. Edit: actually I can think of a few good people who own good KE70s, but it doesn't make up for all the piece of shit, matt black, beat up, K-engined shitheaps on chopped springs I see getting around, which for some reason people still froth over like it's a well built racecar or something.

Bought a pair of wheels: Hartge 15x7, offset is +19 which means I'm less likely to get defected. All that matters is I can fit 195/50 and still have fully functional suspension. Plus they look cool and are 3-piece, made in Japan too! If anyone wants to sell a pair of 15x7/8 wheels let me know, I'd much like to get another pair of wheels in a similar size.
  5. No formula sheets this year unfortunately :(
  6. Math2000, seriously so frustrated about it. I will be lucky if I pass this course.
  7. Studying for a maths exam that is on Saturday, going through past exams and the lecturer keeps throwing in integrals that require trigonometric identities... ʞ©$ɟ YOU! As if vector calculus is not already hard enough without memorising trig identities, ʞ©$ɟ! I'm going to fail this shit.

  9. 10/10 would bang if I was a car
  10. ^That's one of the of the best gifs I've ever seen.
  11. lol why did I get a negative rep for my reply? It's the truth!
  12. For what car? And what do you mean "welded together"?
  13. ^Which Supercheap was this? I heard Supercheap were getting them but I've not seen them in stores yet?
  14. For the old-school rap fans:
  15. The Omega jack I want is not available in Australia. FUUUUUUU Omega! I was fully prepared to pay ~$500 for it too. F it, I'm just getting a hefty 3 tonne mofo and a couple stacks of wood, none of that SCA shit because
  16. LOL! Go to a different service station to fill up next time, then see if the smell goes away ;) Clutch will normally smell like something is burning if you give it a hard time.
  17. Tradetools don't sell Omega stuff anymore unfortunately.
  18. But the Stanfred one has a higher working load, a lower height and double the warranty of the Tradetools one. And it's cheaper for me to buy than a Tradetools one. I'm not too sure about the Omega one, when I was searching the database at work I could only find part numbers and I was having trouble/didn't have the time to match all the part numbers to the different Omega jacks. I'd say it would be around $450-$500. It's the best looking jack I've ever seen and I want it so bad.
  19. I do, but I'm not a fan of the SCA-branded jacks. I'd rather spend double on a good quality jack that will actually fit under my car, and will most likely last twice as long, if not longer, than an SCA jack. If you pay twice as much but it lasts twice as long it's the same price ;) So it doesn't really matter where I get it from, however I found out today that I can order all the good brandname jacks through work and I still get cost price on order in stuff so that's probably what I'll do. I considered getting that one, or the 3 tonne one, good price too. My car probably sits around 100mm at the crossmember? But most jacks foul on the beaver panel/stone tray before they even reach the crossmember. Not in-store, but we can order these: Brand: Stanfred 3 tonne 85mm lowered 455 raised 2 year warranty 35kg And I think we can order these, this is the one I want: brand: Omega 2 tonne 64mm lowered height 500mm raised height quick lift 1 year warranty
  20. ^No Costco in Brisbane unfortunately. Alright so I did a stack of researching at work today: Supercheap Auto can order Omega, Armstrong, Stanfred, Orcon, Kincrome, Liftech and Tradequip jacks. They are all crazy expensive, however there are a few reasonably priced ($200-$450) Omega, Armstrong and Stanfred jacks. I am going to call the supplier soon to see if any are serviceable and find out the warranty period of each. I'm leaning towards either a Omega or Stanfred at the moment because their "low profile" jacks are cheaper than the Armstrong version. Also Burson Automotive can order pretty much all of the above as well for probably the same prices.
  21. Hey RC, I'm looking to buy a trolley jack. Can someone recommend a brand and a place to buy them in Brisbane? Criteria: - preferable not Chinese (providing I can afford it) - as low and as long as possible - less than $400 - I'd like to last more than 5 years Some things I'd like to hear your opinions on: - is it worth it to buy a rebuildable trolley jack? Or should I just settle for a "replace it when it fails" job like what you get from Supercheap/Autobahn/Repco/Tradetools. I would be happy with a Tradetools jack but they aren't rebuildable according to the staff there - alloy vs steel - life expectancy from a cheapo trolley jack/non-rebuildable trolley jack - does anyone own a Tradequip jack? If so what do you think of it? I'm interested in these because I can order then through work for a fairly discounted price Some of the brands I've heard good things about are Omega/Arcon/Armstrong/Liftech but I cannot find a place that sells them in Brisbane. Something like this would be ideal: Any advice would be great.
