I was going to drive it up but getting an unregistered vehicle permit in NSW was too much effort. It worked out cheaper to bring it up on a trailer so that's what I did, plus there was no chance of it breaking down on a trailer ;) I did have some trouble getting it up the driveway though. There was no way we were going to fit the trailer in the driveway so we took the car off and drove it in, but not even planks of wood could stop the exhaust from scraping. Even with those coilovers maxed out I still could not achieve a legal height.

I haven't updated this in ages! The car is now at my place in Brisbane, I'm getting it ready for the engineer's certificate and a roadworthy check. Took out the coilovers that came with the car and put the standard struts back in, this is how the front end sits until the coilovers from the blue KE70 go into the brown car: Almost ready to put my HEL braided brake lines in: Got myself a fixed-back for when I go to the track: When I brought the car up from Byron Bay to Brisbane, I also brought all the left-over parts I had. I really need to sell some of this stuff some I can get some space back , not that I had much space to start with: I have spoken to the engineer and he will be coming to certify the car soon, I just want to get everything sorted out and tidied up before I book it in.
  3. This thing is the deepest money pit I've ever seen.
  4. YOU DON'T EVEN OWN A COROLLA
  5. Gemini is 4x100, KE70 is 4x114.3. Options: - 1) Sell incorrect wheels, buy correct wheels (recommended) - 2) Get wheels redrilled to 4x114.3 if possible. - 3) Get 4x114.3 to 4x100 spacers (not recommended). - 4) Buy a Gemini and put your wheels on it (not recommended). - 5) Learn to use Google (recommended). - 6)
  6. Dem wheels!
  7. I can see some flat batteries coming up. But it looks very tidy, can you still fit things in the glovebox?
  8. You wish, jellyfish.
  9. That technology has been around for a while, but I had no idea it would work on such a large scale. They must be getting some serious lift out of those hydrofoils.
  10. It's becoming a ute right? That's too cool!
  11. Scoopy was standard, Zoomer as that white one I posted a few weeks back.
  12. I saw a Scoopy and a Zoomer near each other in the parking lot at uni, Zoomer is 10x better looking in my opinion.
  13. I dig it.
  14. ^What is that CAS from originally? Also loving those wheels. I've never seen them before.
  15. Increasing the size of the fuel line won't decrease the pressure, it just increases the force from the fluid. i.e Pressure = Force / Area, but pressure is constant (due to fuel pressure regulator on EFI system) -> Force = Pressure * Area -> An increase in Area means an increase in Force This isn't your problem, but I hope you can find out what is and get this thing back on the road.
  16. Yeah Borbets are the wheels. Those ones there are awesome as well^
  17. It only just occurred to me how good Borbets are: I may get a set of those Nemoto copies...
