  1. I have a little point here...Nissan and Renault are now the same company. Close one eye and look at a Tiida. then look at a Megane. same DNA!!
  2. I'd say KE36 panelvan
  3. Spotted about 2.00 this arvo on Heatherton rd Bright orange KE30 2 door Looked modded & overrated
  4. Here's nissans version http://www.google.com.au/imgres?imgurl=htt...ved=0CAkQ9QEwAA
  5. When I was in the UK I bought this newspaper for something to read in the dunny. Thought this article was interesting
  6. Check you've got the plug leads on in the correct order. It's this or the timing is way out. It's possible you timed it on number 4 and not number 1. You wouldn't be the first to do it. This will also cause backfire/no start. Solution? Pop rocker cover of and pop dizzy cap off. Turn the engine over with a spanner until you see the timing mark and importantly the rockers on number 1 are TIGHT! make sure the rotor button is facing the lead that goes to number 1. Adjust as necessary. then from there check your leads are in the correct order. good luck Bamboo
  7. try googling 4-methylmethcathinone. It's the drug analogue of methcathinone. Another name is 4-mmc. they call it different names to get it past authorities but I guarantee it does nothing for the garden!
  8. WARNING, This shit is illegal in Australia. When I was in Ireland they sold it in shops. you could choose your brand. 15 euros for two capsules. I don't think it'll do a lot for your brain. I'm not your Mum, so do as you please! You've been warned!
  9. Now powered by Duty Free Captain Morgan Old Spiced Gold. You're not allowed to drink drive. I believe web surfing and drinking presents similar dangers. Take care out there!!
  10. :) No worries. I figured it out all by myself. Just taking the piss and giving you a free bump! Bamboo
  11. Little known fact. Evan knows how to copy and paste. I'm well impressed Good work E. Keep it up
  12. Sarcasm is my favourite type of humour :) . Yes I know it's low and I'm down in the weeds. good work!
  13. My plastic was maxxed. Good news. I begged the other half, who had room on her plastic, to reg the rolla. I'm now her slave until I save up the pennies again. I took it directly to the car wash, gave it a tub and am back. :)
  14. I'm back & completely broke. After all that tripping around I don't think I'm allowed to feel sorry for myself. There is a WGMG moment. Rego on both rolla and cruiser have run out and I can't afford to reg either ATM. My brother looked after my house and managed to leave the rolla under a tree for 5 weeks and it's covered in SHIT. With water restrictions I can't wash it and without rego I can't take it to a wash bay!! The one last thing I bought in Japan was this console. It's designed to strap on the top of an existing console lid. Being cream vinyl it's a nice match for the coupe interior and fits nicely just after the hand brake. I'm going to make up a bracket and slot it in. until the next adventure Bamboo
  15. Todays shit comes from Jameson select reserve. still in japan and as drunk as shit. been up all night and talking to to the father in law who speaks no english Saw a ke7x flat front 2dr in a driveway whist coasting past on a train at 100kph. there are still gems waiting to be opened. just wish i remembered where it was!
  16. Yeah I f@$ked up answering Jips Question. temp is missing. this was a Nissan Micra. Granted it was built in the UK, but I sorta freaked when i realised it wasn't there. Last time i saw this was in a 60s holden.
  17. more jap photos. check the japlish in the sign
  18. We celebrated when it hit double digits. Usually between -2 an 7 ish. Was told we just missed the blizzards. Didn't rain much either! Stayed in some really cheap B&Bs with no fridge in the room. Beer from the shops also wasn't super cold. got an eco supermarket bag and hung it out the window. made a good beer fridge.
  19. www.performanceignition.com.au try these. not sure of the price but they are known to convert anything to whatever you need. ie I've got a Ford Bosch dizzy in my valiant.
  20. ok ok. for our kiwi friends!!!!
  21. I'm so in. Camping is all I do. the only trouble is i'm going to bring the Trooper and not the coupe. my mobile palace. If any interstaters/rolla brokens come, I may let them drive the coupe. you just have to supply the beers!
  22. oops. one more thing. whats missing from this gauge cluster? and yes the speed limit was 120!
  23. I'm back in the land of sushi for a few days. Suffering more jet lag! Not that you give a shit!!!! While in Ireland I noticed that the number plates actually represent the year of rego with the first 2 numbers. the next letters (s) represent the county of rego using the English initials. Small writing on the plate has the full name of the county in Irish (gailic). Spotted some old cortinas and escorts. They didn't have that style plate. Also spotted this 13 year old cab on the way to the airport. Will keep my eyes peeled for interesting metal in the next few days before my return to sunny Melbourne. Bamboo
  24. Bought my brother a 1986 twin cab 4WD Navara last year. One owner, washed everyweek with no rust at all. 407,000 on the clock with the original motor. 2.4 litre orginal style datsun 1600 motor with crossflow head. Used about a litre of oil a week but just kept going. Ended up putting a 2nd hand engine in it and oh the power increase. Didn't realise it could actually accelerate. oil consumption is now nil!
