For some reason this totally reminds me of the 1970's Fiat 500's, Its good that they kept the look based on thier first designs instead of going stupidly overboard, Almost as tho they worked with the clay (or what ever they used) from the 1st car.

I do agree that the Nuovo 500 is the best of the modern retro cars (Mini, 500, PT Cruiser, New Beetle etc), sure like most it's changed the philosophy significantly (original 500 was rear-engined, for instance), but it seems to have kept a lot of the character and cheekiness, something that the Mini and especially the Beetle lack in spades.

Now, if they'd only put the engine in the BACK, driving the REAR wheels, like the original... shit that'd be fun... until you uncorrectably oversteered into a tree, anyway... just like the original :hmm:

Well the back of that Fiat looks Ford. That other fiat looks like a Nissan Micra. Now thats an ugly car. Actually I'm not a fan of Nissan's latest cars. The Tida was a letdown. I miss the Pulsar.

Thats because no one at Nissan has any real say over the styling anymore. Renault looks at their beautiful sketches and goes "hrm, yea I think we can make something butt ugly out of this".

 

Have a look at the original R35 sketches and compare to the real thing.

I have never seen it on there, Might have to play it again, GT Legends is where i use the abarth alot.
