mhmills
Man my setup was just painful as! So much trial and error! It's going alright now just need to change points and condenser then get the timing done. It's a lot of work.

Taz_Rx
Take some advice from somebody else trial and error and don't boost it without severly retarding (like locking dizzy) the timing. You'll just blow a head gasket if you don't.
haydoss
thanks for the advice :)
haydoss
It's been a while since an update. Finally got it running tonight. Unfortunately there seems to be some sort of leak making the S/C not run very well. We have checked all the hoses and manifolds but can't really find the problem.. Anyway posted a video just incase anyone wants to have a look and suggest some ideas :P It kind of sounds like a bird 'squaking'? Hard to explain haha. There is no whine coming from the S/C and sounds NOTHING like any of the other SC14's that i have seen    Cheers. Spencer[RL]
Watched the last vid like 10 times :) Sounds very healthy around 30 seconds  Some engine bay pics would be great ! What were the major issues you ran into?

Evan G
sounds like a belt squeel or exhaust leak?
haydoss
We put springs on the manifold so incase of a backfire, it will hopefully blow it backwards. Last pic is of my hecktick whitewalls i made with some spray paint.. forgot that it would crack tho... hahah. The accelerator cable has been changed and now makes the pedal very stiff and hard to drive, does anyone know of a way to loosen it or make it easier? Â Â Cheers. Spencer[RL]
Why didnt you just mount the Sc off the aircon bracket so much easier and cleaner.
haydoss
Not to sure haha.
Spencer[RL]
This is what it looks like when you mount it off the Aircon bracket, the plumming might be a pain but seems simple
