Hi peoples I'm a newby here i had a ke70 panell van but i justgot a ke38 wagon what is the differance between ke30s and ke38s? if any or r they ke38s because they are wagons?

KE30's are the sedans. KE35's are the Coupes. KE36 are the Panel Vans. KE38's are the Wagons. Ke55's are the updated KE3x's.

 

The KE55's will have another letter after it telling you if its a sedan, coupe and so on.

KE26 are classed both as the wagon (with windows) and the pannelvan (sheet metal filled withere the 4 rear side windows would be)

OMG i have spent DAYS trauling the net for anything on ke26's and there not out there, google, altavista, dogpile, rollaclub, silviaclub, oldcorollas, toymods. Can you forward some details cause id like someone to bounce ideas off and a common interest in them.

The do look sweet and as soon as i get off my arse and take some more pictures ill put em up in the Rides/Projects part.

that guy i know who had one worked at a wrecker for a while and had never seen another one. I think they are very rare, he put a 5k in his, painted it dark metallic green and put 15" saab chasers on it. Looked very cool.

i own a 73' ke26 4 door station wagon.

 

it has the boring ol' 4 doors and windows all round.

 

but still find me a better one and ill..............buy it :)

KE36 was the 3k powered wagon/panelvan and KE38 was the 4k powered wagon/pano.. thats what I thought anyways

sorry to hijack the thread for a sec.. so does saab have the same stud pattern as early rollas?

and I gave a ke26 away..........:)

Dan is right about the 3k/4k thing and ke36 is the ke3* series van wagon and ke38 is the ke55 series of the wagon but i don't know if it came out in panel van i think it was just a 4 door wagon

NOTHING drives me more mad than that. theres a ke25 that i was tryin to buy and the guy wouldnt sell it to me, even though he had no intention of doing anything with. there was no motor in it and it was rotting under a tree.

 

i just had to walk away with the question "What the f$&k are you savin it for???"
