Hey guy's pretty new to these forums as I just recently brought a AE82 1986 SECA. I brought it from my dads friend who owns Toyo Spares / Wreckers up sort of near lilydale. Brought the car for $3k, which included 7 months rego + name transfer fee's, RWC and everything that needed to be done for that (new windscreen, front right light, wipers + wiper washers etc) Engine has been reconditioned and had $2.5k spent on it... currently has 15,000km on it the body has 269,000km. gday, I'm 13 (14 in a week) and already off to a good start with 3 Corolla's The white 1987 ae82 was the 1st of the lot wich is pretty much standard part from the steering wheel its a 1.6 4a-c 5speed then came the red 1984 ke70 which is pretty much standard engine wise but wont be for long and its the good old 4k-c 1.3 4speed then came the white 1981 ke70 which is in the process of being sold also with the good old 4k-c except 5speed

well three weeks ago i started this project, puttin the 20v in that is. then it became tidy the body work up (Typical corolla rust spots) :hmm: but due to there not being enough hours in a day the project didnt compeat in the hillclimb last weekend... :lolcry: here is some up to date photos as it sits on the hoist, oh and it does have a windscreen in it...

hey all. i found an awesome bargain the other day, an offer to good to pass up. i found a 1967 rt40 corona, 93000 miles, one owner, all original and running... $500 its unlicenced and there are a few little dents and some rust at the front but nothing huge. I'm gona slowly restore it. anyway heres some piks, i'll get more detailed ones when the car gets to my house.

Ok, the chaos begins, today I parked project Tofu (the new minter) in the backyard, in the next week or so I'll clear up the little bits I feel are needed........ Eg. Front left indicator not working and cracked: new bulb, replace casing/lense. Rear right indicator cracked (still working) will replace lense. Upgrade headlights for a giggle. Bit of a clean up, then daily duties until I finish gathering parts for conversion #1....... :y: Let it be known, this project will take time, it's on a very limited finacial input, but will get there....... Hey this is my ae92 ive had it for nearly a year now and yea i love doin all the mods myself its so much better (except when something stuffs up!!!) But my dads a mechanic so yea that makes it easy. hey guys! i need your help! i am about to buy a ke30 auto as a project and am looking to do the works to it. i think i have most of my ideas worked out except the engine. i have been offered a couple of engines and can't decide what to do. I'm not really worried about performance as such but more reliability and particularly an efi motor. the first option is an ca18de (i can always update by whacking a turbo on it later) or second option is a 1.6l worked motor (built for racing and would need to be de-tuned to make it street legal (also needs haltech computer and rings done)) from a nissan exa. This is my fourth rolla and hopefully not the last but instead of using it for khanacross(which i use all the others for) this one is going to be road registered so I can use it when I get my L's (in 2 yrs) The car cost me $150 it is not licenced at the moment (It was but the people kept the plates :hmm: ). the interior is imaculate :lol: no cracks in the dash, and it has not faded. The body is in very good condition on the drivers side but needs a new rear panel on the passengers side. Under the hood it has a stock 4K-C Hi-Cam motor which has a Blown head gasket. Its a 1977 ke36 van with a 3T 1800cc engine with Carmira fuel injection headers 2 inch exhaust 5spd box ta22 rear axle LSD ta22 front brakes. Body is in fair condition for its age. Also came with a turbo set up but not interested in it. As I have a 3TC fuel injected turbo engine sitting in my garage that I will put in for a bit of fun. hi guys I'm a 16yr old teen i live in New Zealand.. I'm wanting some advice on wether to rebuild the 4k in my starlet or drop a new worked 4k or rally 4k in..?? the 4k in it at the moment apparntly hase a race cam..but not sure if it actually does as you can usually hear.. and its running allright at the moment but the previous owner said it has i worn big end bearing.. I'm wondering which would be cheaper and better..ether replace with worked 4k or rebuild the current 4k.. if i was to rebuild the 4k currently in it i would want to work it so it pulls hard for a non turb 4cylinder 1300..does anyone have any advice on what are some good things to work on the …

Hi People Just bought a 94 Seca RV AE102 totally stock, the reason that I named it Shakey is because it needs new engine mounts, so when you change gear you hear the engine go back and forth. Also it has the wrong clutch in it and when I'm pressing the clutch it shakes up and down. And also the stock AE102 suspension is shitty, so that's how I got Shakey So after the clutch and engine mounts are done, I can start modifying this beast.
