I was pretty cut i had to let that car go and i picked up my corolla for 500 and really resented driving it. Just picked this up for a daily crapper while I rebuild my sedan. My 4th KE70 (first slant front) and my 15th corolla... :lol: $700, 4K, 5speed, Air con, apparently has a new heavy duty clutch. Its red :hmm: Done 338k kms, floats like a boat so new shockers will be on the cards. Motor is nice and quiet, no smoke and goes as a 4K should. Paint is pretty good, rust is easily fixed but needs doing before it rains, pics to come as it gets fixed... Hey guys. New here. So i pick up an old rolla wagon from an old bloke last week. Car is pretty clean. He owned it since new. Anyway, plan for the car is to service it, get it running well (its a little rough at idle and splutters now and then under load, thats the reason I came here. To learn how to do fix it) and daily it. Plan after that is to lower it a little and get some nice wheels.

Today my KE10 which i've owned for the last 11 years has found a new home. The new owner certainly proved himself to be a worthy owner of a classic Japanese car, turning up in a stunning little Mazda 1300. Makes the pain of loosing a great little friend easier knowing its going to a good home. :lock:

hey guys! i need your help! i am about to buy a ke30 auto as a project and am looking to do the works to it. i think i have most of my ideas worked out except the engine. i have been offered a couple of engines and can't decide what to do. I'm not really worried about performance as such but more reliability and particularly an efi motor. the first option is an ca18de (i can always update by whacking a turbo on it later) or second option is a 1.6l worked motor (built for racing and would need to be de-tuned to make it street legal (also needs haltech computer and rings done)) from a nissan exa. So named because he's just an organ donor... Bought for $300usd with a new clutch and a rebuilt transmission both will be going in Daisy. I plan to remove the struts and bend them to correct Daisy's horrible positive camber. I haven't decided whether I'm going to put all my worn out parts on it and sell it as a whole car, or strip it and store the spares and sell the shell on ebay for a rotary swap (BIG over here) or REALLY strip it and scrap the body. Finally started to strip back my ke10 and start with a fresh paint job I'm going to paint the car off white or white off a madza6 ( bit of pearl) leaving the standard wheels but going to drop the front and rear to get her sitting low...

Had this car for a while now and slowly getting there. It came with the green backyard paint job, jellybeans, threaded bolts, wheel well half full of water and spaghetti wiring amoungst other stuff. Needed a bit of tidy-up. Ive had a few 4 doors over time and managed to hang onto a few bits which went into this car. I bought a written off AE82 twincam and did the conversion. I rebuilt and installed an AE86 front end still with ADM calipers. Its not quick but I like the 4AGE. Grant from NZ did the interior, He's a legend. This has been my baby for 5 years. 100k on it so far and there's an engine light that just won't turn off. I treat her rough through the roads, all the swirvy turns in Mountainy PA have a lot of 'fun' potential for me. I don't drive reckless where anyone else would be able to get hurt though, and I do abide by the speed limit (5-10 over at most) and a clean driving record shows this. Anyways. Hey i just thought i'd post up my new project. ke70 4k at present. 5k is sitting in the shed waiting on my ordered new oil pump and bottom end rebuild kit. draw through turbo setup with a tco4 colt turbo. commodore louvelles in the front with new shocks. falcon kings in the rear with new shocks. bog everywhere. locker. Volk racing 3 piece meshies all round - 14x 6.5 then a random range of skidder mags with mostly 155's stretched on. currently in white primer while i finish off some more bodywork then its getting painted probably a slightly lighter shade of gun metal grey. Hey, just got myself a ke70, its in pretty decent condition for the age, there is no rust under the doors as shown in photos but there is some in the rear tail gate. My plans for this car is putting a 4age or a rotary and using as a track car or drift car So i have some reading to do as I'm a noob :D

gave it a good wash which revealed alot more rust than expecting but it looks nice, well better than it did my brother helped me with the wheels and my mate in the backround helped me wash it

Please can anyone tell me how to remove the roof lining from my KE35 Coupe? I have removed all the side covers, visors, light and seat belts.........but I think there may be clips and I cannot locate them.

Hey all, well it's the first time I've posted in here! The last time I attempted to post up pics of my ride, it was giving me trouble! I have a KE30 2 door, which my uncle found for me in his neighbours yard!! My uncle bought it off his neighbour for next to nothing, and then I got it off my uncle and traded him an old car stereo of mine (CD Stacker and head unit)!! Yes, a stereo that is worth about $80 on E-bay (which doesn't play MP3 CD's) was my payment for this beast! Hey everyone These are just a few pics of my ke20 i have just perchased. I bought it of an old lady who has owned it since brand new ( 34 years ). It has done 76,000 original miles and has been garaged and serviced regulary its whole life. My view is to lower it quite a bit and put white wall tyres on it, while keeping the standard hub caps. Everybody has their own method to the madness when it comes to having fun. Some people like to spend time with friends, while others enjoy hanging out at the beach. Then, of course, there are the couch potatoes that like to sit in front of the tube. My idea of fun involves anything to do with cars. So my boyfriend recently bought me this beasty little ke55 & ive christened her ROSIE th rolla. The first thing i wanted to get out ov th way was th interior - which was standard factory black vinyl & brown carpet. & & By th time i got everything out, she jus looked so bare.. I havent gotten around to th carpet yet, but th interior came up better than id hoped.. It came with no stereo & th wiring was soo dodgey.. but after a few hours & alot ov patience i managed to fit my stereo in & rewire my speakers so that now it actually sounds decent.. Hi Everyone, I've been looking around here for the past few months at everyones rides so I thought I'd share a couple of pics of mine. I don't know much about my rolla, I bought because I was looking for a cheap run around as a 2nd car (paid $700 for it) but I've kinda fallen in love with it now!! It's a 1980 KE55 SE in Ivory Glow, well I call it 'bowls beige', with beige interior. It has the original 4K and auto in it, total granny spec. I'm the 2nd registered owner and it was originally bought new from Terry Shields Toyota in Parramatta. Hope the pics work!

this is my #2 dream car; kristy calls it a land yacht since i was like 8 , i've always wanted a '68-'69 plymouth sport satellite sportwagon i never could find one, but found a super clean '69 dodge coronet..... so i put a '69 road runner front clip on it it's only a slant six 225, but i've already replaced the noisy 3 speed with an o.d. 4 speed and i have an efi 318 sitting at grampa's i sold my '65 dodge dart on ebay and drove this back about 2 weeks ago check out the dish....

Brought the car for $3k, which included 7 months rego + name transfer fee's, RWC and everything that needed to be done for that (new windscreen, front right light, wipers + wiper washers etc) Engine has been reconditioned and had $2.5k spent on it... currently has 15,000km on it the body has 269,000km. Hey guys New to the site thought id post up my corolla its pretty bland Go it for free off my grandma ;) , the engine is pretty much stock 1300cc i think its a 3K not much up on that ill have to read through the wiki faq, runs well though. Original paint job with some bit of rust around the backend in some kind of faided green ive never seen before. heres the stuff ive done -wacked some cheep hub caps on the wheels..looks ugly(hope to get some cheep rims from somewhere) -fixed up some of the rust on the inside -wacked some carpet on the dash and rear dash -bougth a cheep head unit and speakers (it still had original stock speakers and tape deck) -seat cove…

Few videos from the first track day for the car after months waiting for a custom clutch to arrive,its here and it works real good. Also fitted a whieline swaybar which works good on the track also. Here is ben and my little fun project, its a 55 coupe that we straightened and painted. will be rego'd on monday for ben as he just sold the 20. was a country car that had many accidents, so is still abit rough but we aren't panel beaters or painters. will remain stock other the ride height (needs to sit so much lower).
