hey all, my names michael, I'm RL friends with ian and yeh i guess we both got corolla's now heheh what are the odds?? yeh so neways i got my car at end of last year before christmas, its a 1990 seca, i got it from some trade yard for 1500 with a trade in with this old wagon we had lieing around, its in pretty good nick and is blue color and came in real handy since i just got my liecense :D heheh u can imagine how excited i am. so yeh thx for letting me join rolla club and i look forward to spending many happy days with you all! mickle

Weirdest thing happened this afternoon on the highway on my way home, there was this grey AU falcon in front of me doing 100km/hr, ( In a 110km/hr Zone) when he finally made his mind up to change into the left lane I dropped back into 4th and nailed it past him, probably got up to like 120km/hr and when I looked in the rear vision mirror (In-between changing lanes) could see red and blue lights flashing from what seemed to be from under the front bar, My intitial thoughts were "f@$k, is that a D Car?" I slowed back down to the limit and it then drove past me and stayed in front of me for a while, Then a red Falcon and Commodore went flying past us both, The grey AU then …

Hey all well atm in the process of customizing alota stuff in my ke70, and I'm onto the door trims. I would like to know what products to use on the door plastisc to change the colours (and for it to last a little bit, not just to flake off when u touch it) see pic... The vinal is going black :D & the little bit around the door handel inside is just gona be replaced with the black 1's that came out on the ke55s :rolla: any ideas ? thanks !

Hey all! Today i got my stuff from e-bay ! a 4K Engnine manual from toyota motors Co a pair of Neon dice that glow when u turn them on! an Exhaust tip items still yet to come... Massive ke70 serrvice manual - 700 odd pages with the works - direct from the usa :D Bathurst book with a ke70 review & bathurst ke70? :rolla: but the ne-on dice :fuzz: mmmm :D

Hi all........new to this forum and like what I see. I am restoring a 1974 KE35 Corolla Coupe with a 4K engine and 4 speed manual box. I still have a bit to do on it and I hope to get some tips and advice from here as I go. Anyone know where I can get new front seat belts for my pillarless coupe?

Hi everyone i would just like to say hello to everyone on the rollaclub board. I currently own three cars and one of them is a corolla KE55 coupe. I have done a bit of work to the engine. which is a 4K-c Mild Cam, Twin 40mm Dellorto carbs, redline manifold to suit, extractors, 2" Sports Exhaust, Port & Polished Head. I must say its a little pocket rocket and has chewed a few commies and falcons. I intend to turbo it and am currently looking for a setup to suit. If anyone can kindly point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks & Regards John

hey guys and gals, my name is chris, i've been a member of rolla club for a few months now, but never posted and i only know a few guys so i thought i would get myself out there, so hi! anywayz a bit about me i drive a yellow 1982 KE70, with a 4K-C, 2" sports zorst, and gold 13" hot wires. it also has a 1.6 CSX model fuel pump and i have twin SUs on a manifold which is to go on mid week so yeah. btw i live in caloundra ive got plans for the beast to, but i wont go into them now, cause they're still in the dream basket :D anyway I'm not too sure how to fit them, let alone tune em, so if anyone out there knows anything at all please let me know. …

hi guys. just joined and thought i'd say a little about myself. i'm a confirmed corolla freak, been driving ke corollas for almost 15 years, having owned 7 so far. currently drive a ke15 sprinter with a warm 4k and 5 speed. missus (bec) drives a ke16 wagon with stocky 4k and 5 speed. also have a ke10 which i may do up one day. recently have been getting into motorkhanas out at willowbank (done 3 so far). so much more fun than flogging around on the streets. Hey all! Well, today i went on my first offical driving lesson ! it was 2000 mazda 323 - white with duel controles. Kinda fun, a lil scary. But if i can only take 1 thing away from it - it is this. I would be more than happy to drive my car for the next *x* years , than drive a duel controle car / that car for a long time ! - I'm not sure if it was the duel controles that made it weird, but everything was waaay to touchy - and power steering... eeek - ill like non-power steering - so much easier & presise... & get this! - i didnt have 2 use a choke, tap accelrator, let it heat up or anything - it just turned on first go - no fun !!! thank g…

GUYS!!! i just found a drift game for super nintendo, it's called Drift King Shutokou Battle!!! you can get it on romnation.net and rom-world.com, it's even got Takashi with the green suit! its like mario kart but with a supra, silvia, and some others i didnt look at yet. you must all go and download it now and play it until the wee hours there's also a phat arcade drifter called Side By Side in intencity pacific fair at the moment, stay on the outside of the curve and chuck it, liftoff throttle drift, the cars turn in really well

Hey guys A mate of mine has a really old AMI - imported Corona and his engine just died and is looking for a original replacement... so if you know of any 2R engines - or old engines from the late 70's early 80's hilux please tell me. Thanks guys Tom.

One the way to work my electronic ignition packed it in while i was driving up the highway, just lost power and i pulled off to the side, tried to start it up again and the engine revs were all over the place, got under the bonnet for a quick look, fuel was in the filter and the fuel bowl on the carby was full, so i figured it must be something other than fuel, checked the throat of the carby and everything looked fine, tightened the plug leads down a bit and still no go when i fired it over, then i realised that it could possibly be the electronic ignition, put it back on to the normal points (plug to swap it over) and what do you know it purred over like a kitten.. …

sum bastards broke into my car striped it clean and took my wheels and only left my engine and shell. lucky i have insurance but still it was my baby boy :sad: :P :D :D :D

The Car - SWEET !!! (pickin up 2 morrow arvo, they needed to get some part in for th boot? - meh - adleast i know its all ready, and will be picked up 2 morrow !) Ill take better 1's 2 morrow, but nothing can describe the whiteness of my car, and its cool-e-ness :D :argh: (Y) :D :D :D :D :P :lol: 8D :P p.s - yes, there are a few small bits to go back on the car *back black bages*, and some which i will be takeing off *front mudflaps* - and getting a matching clear left around head light ! Hey guys, I'm back, thought I'll say hi rather then just scanning the boards post, Maxi isn't super dooper yet, though I did blow the turbo now so he has an oil leak. :devil: But maxi the lil beast shall live on!!!! even in his current bad state I did something norty... I raced a new wrx (only mod i could see was zorst) off the lights and I did loose but maxi kept it with him from 1st, 2nd and then into 3rd he pulled away... but I think thats pretty good for a car with the wrong ecu, blown turbo, stuffed susspension, bad tyers, broken clutch cylinder... :) Anyhow racing is bad :o but one bit of footage which has inspired me to keep going on and on... yay...finally the car has gone in today for its long awaited conversion. Starting today car gets transformed with the aid of: ae101 4agze ihi rhb5 gtx familia turbo custom manifold t teries diff w larger axles & cusco 1.5 way lsd custom tailshaft w57 g/box (ra60) with modified w* housing 2.5" mandrel exhaust calsonic i/c larger radiator with d/c thermo fan hpc coatings on all pipework once thats up and running i'll be sourcing some 2nd hand tein coilovers for the front and adjustable koni yellows & king springs for rear. Lower the car 1.5 - 2 inches. the rest of the suspension is yet to be decided but definately a big mofo swaybar, panhard r…

Then, we head down to option 1 garage to pick up my new mags Then off 2 the tyre place to get them fitted with new tyres, balanced etc My New rolla comes home all nice and new - first time in 2 weeks to fill this spot Then i start to cusomize it even more mwhahah BUT WAIT - THERES MORE !! Hey all i think i have a good idea - listen up. South Bank, Brisbane has Lots of lights, water fountains, Clean nice lookin gardens and best of all - Access - Legal. So, i was thinking, We should get AS MANY people as possible together 1 evevning, have a dinner / bbq some where then continue onto south bank where we could line ALL the cars up and get some Nice Shots - If its done later at night, Garinted to get some Nice Shots - These pics gave me the idea.... (Look at the backround presentation, not nessarly where these pics where taken) I know southbank pretty well - go there a bit with family friends. Any comments ? feed back? yes / no ?…

We need just a new topc on the rollaclub.com forums home page section - and each member creates ONE page and post our car there, updates, etc so basically every member who can be bothed to have a page maintains it. - admin don't have to be bothered each time for an update..! yes no?
