I don't like the black spur, crap visability and too many pensioners and toorists. I hear the reefton spur is the way to go

thats interesting, although there seems to be more really lame slow urban type roads than ones you can go a bit fast on
  4. that is good to know, thanks. Although I am sure the people at exedy would look at you a bit odd if you asked for a super heavy duty townace clutch
  5. oh right, well that brings up a tottaly unrelated question then, what clutch do people use when they have a 200 or a 212mm flywheel on a 4age with a W55 box behind it?
  6. I don't think thats right, I will do a check
  7. you could just save yourself a lot of haslte and use a blacktop flywheel if you can find one
  8. did you read that on Mr Acoustics page? You can use the TA22 T50 but you will need a different tailshaft and chop a different shifter hole, ie not worth it
  9. I have some conversion articles on my website that might be useful to people: s-86.com I have info on the following topics: - working with vvt - spigot bearings - 20v rwd conversion article list goes on
  10. I am so with you on that one, what a combo, I love it!
  11. yes but not quite what I meant. I mean compared to the stock engine there is nothing to highlight anything has been changed except for the non stock looking bright red.
  12. I doubt it could fit without converting the front end to a tube frame. I personally think a 4g63 would be a better way to go but thats just my personal preferance
  13. bar the red covers this looks like the stock engine, amazing work!
  14. there is no 234mm that I know of, only 225 and 230 for the ZE engines. All FE engines have a 6 bolt crank my short guide: http://s-86.com/s-flywheels.html

your new so welcome and all, there are stacks of posts on various conversions for your car, try the FAQ and the search button
  16. no, afterall all are interchangable so someone could of swapped it
  17. being a fwd there are 4 possible sizes: 200, 212, 225, 230mm so no
  18. you need to measure the diameter of the friction surface, know how to do that? the outside of your abrasive material on your friction plate would be a fairly accurate way to go
  19. the exterior is a bit bold for me. I like the tan interior and where you put the 2 gauges in the dash too. That 20v cooling system though... yuk no drivers side door handle yet?
  20. yes its fine, both are rated for that kind of use
  21. ok scratch that, mail only parts then. Let me know when you get another car
  22. whats your location anyway? I might be able to help you also
  23. looks neat, can I suggest you blur out your number plates?
  24. thats good thinking, offset diff or not all the linkages and that would be in place and known to be right. When re-sizing a diff just make it off to one side more and use all the original linkages and metal of the ae95
  25. before I continue do you think your possibly up for spending literally hundreds of hours on doing this? its very much a one way road if you start.
