as far as i know there is only 1 repainted like mine, everything else is a brown or the creamy coloured one. soo dissapointed on the way back from the airport i saw a brown ke20 driven by a 80 year old there was no where to do a u-turn, I'm not sitting at home brooding, shouldve taken the kerb for a chance at another ke20 haha

i got mine with the engine i got, for 350 got a new elec dizzy, 32/36 weber, the gilmers a 5speed and a pretty fresh 4k. definition of winning! nekk mittut bang haha. slight update, cops really didnt like the yellow lights, cops pulled me over 3 times last night, lucky didnt get stickered but did get a 100 dorra fine for not having 1 p plate up

new motor is in ive been driving it for a while, serious problem its a shitload slower than the old k motor, i believe the old one had a 3k head for more compression ? :S or i just desperatly need timing and tuning for the weber haha. gilmers sounds a treat and they are defiantly a wanted item, but realistically don't do anything for me, they are pure wank factor, a k motor will never throw enough power out to get the belts slipping so in future ill sell it on for some go fast or look cool parts :) kline just linked a old celica, its a step up from the scooter :)

much to muck around with to put a jz in, or can parts be found easily, will it need custom gearbox and engine mounts, hydro clutch etc ? i only just got back from europe and budget was dramatically reduced from the latter haha. just saw the car and can't really refuse it, as its unlicensed it can stay off the road for a while while the work is being done so no real hassle there on time.

hey guys I'm about to have a look at a mkII corona, its pretty cheap for 400, its complete and unregistered etc but it is the 4m 2.6 straight 6 engine to a manual box, which i hear is pretty rare. 4 door version. just wondering if anyone on here has had past or present experience with them ? weak points common faults etc. would parts be hard to fiind if the engine is shagged or will it be worth it to just drop another 6 in it ? any and all feedback is welcome, my logic is, its rare, looks cool, don't see it everyday and is prety dammn cheap :)

try using sand paper on both surfaces, a really rough grit, depending on how corroded it is, if its the housing that corroded just get a new one they go for about 30 from memory. if its the part the housing bolts on to then give it a really good skim back with sand paper, make sure its a smooth surface so when you put a new gasket it should seal up nicely, and abit of silicone wont hurt it :)

gear knob is just a golf ball that way laying around the workshop, had the new gearbox in and needed a shifter, drilled a hole in the ball and its been there for the past 3ish years ive driven it haah. spencer has gone through a few cars, his ke70 ghetto girl is still passing around like the slut it is, the aw11 he had got crashed, he had a cressedia that just stopped working and now he is carless and i think he is getting a hella-gay scooter till he can get a gtr32 haha Thanks asirike but there is much to go before ill be happy with it haha, the life of a old car lover

so i got back from europe and spent the last few days getting the new enigne in. specs are as follows: gilmer belt drive fairly fresh 4k elec dizzy 32/36 weber extractors into a 1 3/4' exhaust only had a few problems with the engine, had to replace most seals as the guy before had used a shit red silicone thing that just didnt work meaning i hah leaks from the water pump, replaced all seals there new fuel pump and and more new goodies like started motor, alternator etc. dizzy was 180 out so when we put it in properly it fired first go. put it in the car had problems tuning the weber so put the original asian carb back on. the gilmers sound so crazy, I'm a p-plater so for the moment I'm allowed the wank factor of one haha. ill let some pics do the talking. next up on the list is to clean the bay of all the aids looking wiring :blush: got new carpet coming in for it so it can sprt a fully sick ulleh sound system, no cutting of the door cards or the sort, and deck in glove box. looking for a front lip aswell so if anyone knows of one :) tint and the list goes on a few fun pics

don't know if he is still around and personally had no experience with him but when old blokes chat to me about the rolla they always say they had a tony flood hot motor built ? try looking for tony flood i suppose if not just ring around I'm sure you can find something

what would you charge for darkest legal on a ke20, no previous tint etc
