Ahh, don't worry Ted! We have another GOR run in 6 or so months! Even bigger and better than the 1st! GZE82, updated the avove list to show your coming mate, sounds good! can't wait to see the car! dfunkt, mate, let us know whats happening when you can. Would be great to see you there but we can't always have what we want! Keep us posted! Stu, your right, its great to see so much interest for the run... may be our biggest yet! Jarrad

I'm liking the sound of that... I have figured out the run from my place to the peninsula meet point... thats going to be a run on its own! I will be getting hold of Butty and Muller this week to let them know the final details of the run and see if there up for it... pretty sure Butty will be... that will make 17 cars! Another thing to remember is that we may end up with, say, 15 cars... but we will have more people than that... I'm definentaly not doing the run alone with no stereo at all!
-
haha, so so true! As we are from two rolla sites most of them will be Rollas as per requested! can't wait to get the video for it either!
-
Well this is looking good! Tell me... why is it that when you get a didicated thread going people get cold feet? :y: Ok, I have gone through the cruise thread and the Arthurs seat thread on TwinCam.org and got some numbers for the run. So far from Rollaclub we have, Confirmed: Webers Kinckn Pozman NOBBLER GZE82 MRMOPARMAN Shown Interest: Rollla Clown dfunkt And from TC.org we have, (not sure who has confirmed etc) BlindKidSeeks (Coming) Twincamslam bway OSO-DVS GTI-TRD High Roller GTIRKT Ok, so thats 16 cars so far! Woot! I know some of you cannot make it but have put you up anyway, place a post up if your coming and havent confirmed and also if you are up and cannot make the run. If you have just stumbled upon this thread and you would like to join us then post up your interest and come along... that simple! Cheers for now... Jarrad

Also, one other thing... I will be leaving my place at Deer Park around 10:15AM if anyone would like to meet me there, I know there are some members alot further west than myself and this would possibly make it easier for some of the out of towners! Just a thought! Jarrad

Well Hello everyone! It's about time a dedicated thread was opened with all of the relevant info for you to drool over... of something like that anyway! Here they are... Cruise Info:Ok, we haven't really had a run since the GOR run in January... so it was time to get a move on and organise something! We will be meeting at various places around the city (described below) and then were heading to Arthurs seat for some fun driving and a good time. Once where done there we will be heading to Weber's place where himself, kickn5k and the rest of the crew will be holding a BBQ late lunch. Can't wait! Date: Sunday 27th May 2007 Time: Late morning departure to destination/late arvo, early evening departure from destination. Meet Points: (Reason for separate meet points is for Northern and Western members to travel together to meet up with Southern and Eastern members and then all travel together, then we will meet the peninsula members and commence the cruise) Northern and Western Members: Northland Shopping Centre, Murray Road, Preston (The car park next to the cop station, out the front) Latest time of departure from this point: 11:00am sharp Southern and Eastern Members: Brickmakers Park (Stamford Road, Oakleigh) Latest time of departure from this point: 11:30am (provided the 1st meet point has no problems) Peninsula Members: BP Servo, cnr Thompson rd and western port hwy, Lyndhurst (will give us a chance to chat and fill up) Latest time of departure from this point: Anytime after 12pm. Ok, so what do you bring? I would start with yourselves, your friends/family etc. Your Rolla (or other mode of transport! We won't discriminate!) and make sure you have something to nibble on/drink on your way, we will have a chance to get that at the servo if needed. If you are staying for lunch then I suggest you bring something for the BBQ at Weber's place, Weber's and Kickn will be kindly providing some of the food but it would be appreciated if you bring something along as well! If anyone would like more info, you can get in contact with me via a PM, email or on my Moblile phone (0400843198). It may pay to save my number incase anything goes wrong and you cannot make a meet point in time of you get lost! Its will be good to see the regular faces and meet some new ones... Keep an eye on this thread for any updates and show your interest as well... Cheers, Jarrad

Well, yes... he was... Anyway... just thought this quote I read a long time ago may help... You can turbo/supercharge anything... as long as it has oil pressure! Just take a look at the turbo lawn mowes floating around!

Rollaclub 1/4 Mile And Track Times Discussion
TheNOBBLER replied to mikeys toy's topic in Motorsport
Thought I would just give this a bump to keep it going! I'm heading to the track again in the near future for some more fun, will post up my times when I'm done! I just want to crack a 15! Jarrad -
Agreed, we seem to be getting up there in the numbers stakes for the Vic section of RC. Gotta be happy with that! Now all we have to do is get people to events! Anyway, welcome Shackas! Nice to see you well and truely an early girl fan! Your gonna fit right in! Jarrad
-
Still its not the way to go about it... Someone in my street threw a hammer at a car and was charged for it, but thats another story. I agree with Valandor... give them a call and see what the deal is. Then decide if its worth it... Jarrad
-
G'day there! Welcome to the club Tate! I have to say, the rolla is looking really clean... I had one very similar to it so I have a soft spot for them! can't wait to see it on the road! Hope you find this site a informative and usefull, were pretty relaxed over here so treat us all right and we will do the same to you! Just hope you can spell better than me! If you have any questions mate, ask away! Cheers, Jarrad
-
Should have told me you were going mate! I'm only around the corner! I should get my ass into gear and update the date list! lol
-
I know, spewing... Would have been worth the drive afterall! Cage should happen later in the year... we will see what happens.
-
Haha, yes, you are right... the rear trims are on the way out soon but the spare etc has to stay. I still drive the car on meets ad the odd day to work, I have had a flat with no spare before and its no fun! Mind you, I wouldnt be silly enough to keep it in there when I go racing! I have access to a stack of lexen... polycarb or what ever you would like to call it... so I'm going to replace my rear windows, Might sounds stupid but there is a stack of wieght in them! But then again, I don't want to go to crazy... but a set of vent in the rear windows would look pretty wild! Anyway, had my first run in it sonce its been back on the road, had a ball. Makes me realise just how much fun it is to drive!

Well, time for an update! The Rolla is up and running again! Bloody stoaked! After alot of sursing, drilling and finally taping the oil pressure line whole out I got her running again... with no bad noises or problems! YAY! Since she is no longer a daily driver I can now stat getting it ready to race... still going to drive it on the street but I want to compete in club level events... so the first thing to go was most of the trim! Heres the result! Now I can't wait to the next rollaclub event! If you look in the 1st pic you can see my tool bag... made it up for the wheel brace etc... I love beeing a trimmer! lol Jarrad
-
Stu better come! you guys have to see my neww..... ummm, , , trim? lol
-
Hey, if it was a red Twinky I know the one... they looked pretty sweet. Problem is mine is dropped on its guts and I can't fit the taller rubber, even a 205/45/16 wouldnt fit! The Rolla has been brought back to life tonight! So I should be at the run on Sunday... provided the car is still running happily then! SO Webers, you had better come along! Bring Poz with his Pulsar so I can woop his ass! lol, we have to have a night at calder sometime soon!
-
Welcome to the club mate, sweet ride you have there too, as poz said, love the wheels... would have loved something like that on my Twinky but there too bloody big! Yes, there will be an aurthers seat run coming up soon, check back in the thread labeled "cruise" for the details... will be starting up a new thread for it once we get everything sorted out. Sunday... sounds good. Just have to get my rolla running again... hopefully I will sort that out saturday, we will see what happens! As I said, welcome to Rollaclub. Enjoy your stay, were a freindly bunch and try to have semi regular runs around the place... we even have an anual cruise on the go now! See you round the traps! Jarrad
-
Alright alright... time to get half serious! Teddy needs numbers quite soon... well, pretty much now... on the bathurst trip. Are there any people interested in this run still? If so I would like to get a Vic road trip going to meet up with the rest of the crue at Bathurst. Raise your hand if you want in! Jarrad

Yes yes, neck snapping material for sure!
-
Bugger! Cheers for the update... was just wondering!

TheNOBBLER replied to slapper's topic in Rollaclub Social (Off-Topic)
