I would have thought that the two piece on the 70's where the torque tube, to stop the diff from, twisting as there are no top links, as oppose to the leaf spring setup, ?????

So I noticed in the rides threads that 'alot' of members are quite chuffed that their new purchase of a used Corolla, comes with original log books, What is the big facination with this, seems everyone has them, I have mine also when it was first brought from Moorooka, QLD dealership back in 1977, but not much of it applies to my car, nor does it affect the value Shed some light please.....
