  6. if anybody said that on oldrollas, it would be their last post there. ever.
  7. worked for me :D (the link, not the product!)
  8. OH MY GOD YES JAFFLES!!!
  9. ae95 tercel with cosworth running gear and off its tits 20v supercharged 7age with billet everything :D
  10. assume a gasket compresses 020 to 030 under torque though. you'd want to deck the block so the pistons were poking up 010 or so, and port the head to suit whatever compression such a part shouldn't be used, but hung on the corolla trophies wall :D
  11. ENGINE (4K) GASKET, cylinder head one of 3200 yen
  12. only red ones with race seats and full cams cages! :D
  13. remove bolts from backing plate, put large screwdriver through hole to rest against axle flange, strike screwdriver with mallet. repeat
  14. we'll still outnumber you upstarts so ner! thinkin you're all that with ya fancy crossflow heads and decent capacity :D i mean come on, the thing doesn't even have a pushrod! (well yes it does actually, on the clutch)
  15. i won't stuff around with rear discs, and i'll get something with decent ratios. i reckon i could get away with it for under $1500
  16. the TRS 8A-GE kit (custom crank, rods and pistons for 7A only) is no longer in production, as Topi no longer works for TRS or even makes car parts. club4ag thread here aaron willis, who i give webhosting to, has a 7A-GE in his AE11 MR2, see here for buildup http://te51levin.superjamie.net/
  17. AHA! maths skills spot on, i need to learn to drive the spreadsheet better :doublebird: wow, offset RCAs are cool :D
  18. i have a fun cereal and a boring cereal, so i vary them depending on how i feel. sometimes i have sustain or corn flakes, sometimes i have coco pops or mini wheats or nutri grain when i have time on the weekends, i love to make an egg-based morning meal such as french toast or scrambled eggs on hot buttered toast or dippity eggs and soliders :D the last time you made us breakfast you made a kickass omelette, it was yum :D i wish i could make omelettes, mine always just end up scrambled egg with bits :doublebird: oh, and pancakes are good too, so are crepes with fruit and vanilla icecream. and yogurt or custard vary your beverage too. tea, coffee, green tea, orange juice, milk, milo, etc etc and sometimes you just gotta have pizza and coke for breakfast too :doublebird:
  19. i've always just wanted a KE25... :D
  20. hahaha, i couldn't have said that better myself :D he told me i was an idiot running 4.3s with a motor like mine
  21. why do you need the center rebuilt? new gears, ouch! rebuilding any diff center isn't cheap, i got quoted $4-600 to rebuild mine and it's just a single spinner
  22. how offset are your RCAs?
  23. hold on. that should be inverse cosine, which means it's about 1.5 degrees more negative camber. hmm, that's alright edit: no, i was right the first time, it's inverse tangent. i don't believe 2 unit maths actually has a practical application in real life! i wonder if there was anything useful in the 18 months of calculus i slept through?
  24. http://www.battleversion.com/rca_blocks.htm it wouldn't be very hard to get your own RCAs made up out of billet, just trace the bottom of a strut onto paper. or if you're really lazy, put the strut base on paper and spraypaint it those negative camber RCAs are interesting. the biggest adjustment on them is about 35mm sideways. my struts are about 550mm long in the car at rest. the inverse tangent of 35mm/550mm is 0.63551 degrees extra negative camber. what a ripoff :S
  25. haha there's a corona up the coast with a worked original 2S in it
