put a socket on the crankshaft pulley bolt and turn it. if you don't have the pulley on that's ok, just put the bolt in and turn it or put a couple of flywheel bolts in and wedge a bar between them and turn

you need a compressor worth at least $650 a $200 2.5hp compressor *will* spray a car, but you'll have to stop and start alot, generally not reccomended if you just want to paint, hire a compressor for the week and do it during holidays

the head bolts will take in excess of 65ft-lb if you want, but you might pull the head out of shape and crack one of the supports above the sparkplug tubes like i did. no big deal, teaches you how to use araldyte to fix engines :D
