  1. Standard Features: TOTALLY WICKED GULLWING DOORS
  2. vans are boring, you sit way up the front so you get really sideways (by using liquid horsepower) and you're just going lalala boring. as opposed to sitting in an rx7, where you're in the middle of the car, so you get a tiny bit sideways and it feels like you're perpendicular to the road :D
  3. yes, ke10 and ke11 have the same engine bay rob's right, auto ke10s have larger trans tunnel than manual ones and you'll need to make a custom gearbox mount some way, ke20 onwards had chassis rail holes for mounting T gearboxes, 80mm back from the K gearbox holes, try and do that to give you a good engine position if you have the 4ag which has the distributor at the back (in rwd config) then you'll need to modify the firewall, move the engine forward, or change to a different distributor (such as the sideways one in the top picture)
  4. all you really need to supply from the loom is ignition power to the coil (use the positive wire to ke35 coil), and earth from the ignition module, the rest is all 4ag parts (ignitor, ecu, tacho, distributor). i'd earth the module to body, and straight back to battery negative as well, for a good clean signal
  5. yes and i've seen a 4k that pulls 10 and a half. that's great but if it's all in the top end, the car is going to be slow
  6. it's even on this forum somewhere if you look :D his workshop is in logan village industrial estate, i helped him move there beau yates gets a big wrap in hpi9, he even scares a jap D1 drifter, amazing skill and good setup by ricol automotive
  7. usually an aftermarket driven plate will have a part number stamped into it, and won't be old enough to rust like that, and normally has single color (metal or anodised) springs. partially sprayed springs like those are a giveaway of a stock clutch i can see from here that pressure plate has been painted with a pressure pak can, look at the overspray on the inside of it. an aftermarket pressure plate with colors will usually be a very decent paintjob, applied with a gun
  8. 7k-e manifold would be good for turbo if you could match the ports, you'd need to sleeve the runners where they bolt to the head
  9. sorry, but you're going to get chopped as much as i hate them, exas haul ass, even morseo with a CA in it. it will have more torque and more top end than you. and less drivetrain loss unless this guy can't put the power down (which is another thing about exas, being wrong wheel drive) you're in for a smokin
  10. it's too big, especially for a stock 4k :D i wouldn't put anything over dcoe/dhla40s on a 5k, it's not going to flow THAT much. you'd probably want the smallest chokes you can get it them too (32mm? there are some 28s around but very rare) some facts: the restriction point on a 5k is the valve size 25/65 is the best cam for a 4k-cranked engine
  11. anybody here put a race seat in a ke20 or 25 (or any corolla for that matter) that they were happy with? what was it? not too fussed about fixed or reclining, just comfy and supporting i scored a cobra clubman for free a while back, and made some adaptors up out of 8mm steel strap, but it sits too high so my legs hit the steering wheel if i lift off the pedal, and my knee hits the gearknob in 5th. i even drilled all the holes so they line up first go too, rare for me :D
  12. yes, in a lot with the ca18det taken out of them, and in my car actually, any saliva with the s15 front headlight conversion tends to look pretty good. not IS good, just looks good. i love s15s
  13. yeah i subscribe, got it earlier this week, made a post about it on oldrollas angela's turbo 5k ke10 was in a couple of issues back too
  14. and to see mr t's illegitimate love child, click here http://fookseung.fotki.com/random_photos/haiflex.html lookin good hai :D
  15. notice how when something's going to be more expensive, they keep quiet then after the price is changed, advertise it like it's this great new thing you're missing out on? not that this has much to do with what i want to say, but it's just something i noticed anyway, fotki.com are having a special on their premium accounts until monday, when they'll double the existing price to us$50 a year. i paid us$15 for my fotki subscription, way back in the day, but i digress to have a look at a really good fotki, with heaps of pictures and a good example of how you can use their own styles to integrate into your website, go to http://fookseung.fotki.com/ or check mine out at http://superjamie.fotki.com/ it's worth it, get it NOW!!!
  16. is that at the wheels? that's at 1.3 bar too bigger injectors give you more room to move, but if you're just building one setup and leaving it there, then you'd get no gain from going to injectors that are bigger than what you need at 80% duty cycle. too big injectors can actually hurt performance down low, as they flow too much and you can't get the resolution you need for a smooth idle
  17. gazelles look good going into the crusher at the wreckers
  18. that yellow aw11 is pimp hey
  19. no, that is about right economy for a stock 4k in a 55. emissions gear and heavy weight suck, yo
  20. http://superjamie.fotki.com/cars/library/ i'll put wiring diagrams on there tonight :D
