well, cameron was going to give me his SUs for $180, so how about 200 bucks? the same peter. interesting theory. still, i couldn't stand the noise and fuel consumption of higher gears, and i looked for a 4.5 for ages and couldn't find one. i think it would be pointless with an open center too, i'm already baking the inside wheel around most corners. still, i could always whack a high ratio locker in for that weekend. haikal's pano should have 4.5.s :P nah, no T series. i think when it's time for a diff upgrade i'm going to look for a series 3 rx7 diff. discs, decent lsd, 4x114.3, strong enough for me, plenty of ratios available from vans and utes

how many bags of beanbag balls from kmart would that take :P they're only like $11.49 each

can you get 17" jellybeans?

someone's messageboard software doesn't support links with spaces in them :P videos fixed in the original post, they should work for everyone now, just right click and save as how much you want for the twin SUs rob? what model and size are they and what do they come with? (manifold filters linkages brackets etc) i want my gears to be longer, so i can stay in second longer, changing from 4.3s to 4.2 or 4.1 would allow me to accomplish this yes? 4.5s would make the gear run out quicker wouldn't they? last time i talked to your mate peter robinson he reckoned i was an idiot sticking 4.3s behind a motor like mine, he thought 4.11s or 3.9s would be way better, i think he might be right fookie, if that 4.1 is a jap 6" i'll give you 50 bucks for it it's actually a go kart track with an entrance and exit road. i've attached a pic of the track map, sorry for the crap quality, my scanner's busted so i used the camera

porn is always so unrealistic. i mean, AS IF sheep in new zealand would be out in the open and bending over :P haha imagine the really rich prostitute sheep in new zealand, they probably get turf delivered to them and eat it off a dinner plate

the bottom of my garage page http://www.superjamie.net/garage/ you can get a kit from dellow to put a K motor into old suzuki 4wds. i know someone who knows someone whose mum has one. when comparing it to the stock suzuki motor, my mate said "so much more torque, it could climb a brick wall!" but better to put a new turbo motor in one. one of the funniest races i've ever seen is an sr20det sierra totally chop a 180sx

4 horsepower at the wheels, probably over 5 at the flywheel *nod*

yeah it's a good track, i don't think you could ever break anything on there unless you were in something way too powerful for it. such as the porsche 911 gt3 who came too hot into the last corner (which is easy to do) and rolled a few years ago i'll post the map of the track when i get home tonight as you can see, i need longer diff gears. i'm shifting to third for a split second on the first run along the straight, all the escorts are revving out in second and backing off. i need 4.2s or 4.111s or something

there is no solid definition. "i'm getting new wheels" and "i'm getting new rims" could be the same thing, or they're different. some people even consider "wheels" to be the whole car; "man, nice wheels you have there"

and it's also pretty heavy. and they do head gaskets alot

today was the 1st round of the grafton sporting car club hillclimbs for the year, it marked the 50th year of the car club and the 40th year of hillclimbs, there were even some old original hillclimbers there. as you can imagine this brought on alot of lengthy speeches and bad jokes from the old men who run the club, but racing soon got underway my best time with shit tyres and stock suspension was a 64, i was aiming for a 60 today. i also had some more ideas about racing lines, gran turismo is good for something  since last (dry weather) run i've put lower profile a539s on, and lowered the car and stiffened the springs all round. my first run i was amazed at how well the car handled, and came into a corner too hot and spun. second and third run i gradually improved until i ran a 60.59 on my 4th run. 5th run i shifted into 2nd on the grip limit of the tyres and spun again :P 6th run i ripped out a 60.96. so i was really happy with my effort for the day our friend ross was in his ignis sport, and managed to get down to 62.15 or thereabouts. nick took his vu ss ute (as his wrx has a broken gearbox) and started off running a 63 but got that down to a mid 58. his 1100cc mini runs very high 58s, and his 200kw wrx runs 57s i also noticed i can wedge my camera phone between the dash an A pillar, so i have some driving videos for you all to enjoy, they're in divx 4 Run 1 DNF - 698kb (spin) Run 2 63.15.avi - 828kb Run 3 61.24.avi - 796kb Run 4 60.59.avi - 748kb (best run) Run 5 71.06.avi - 902kb (spin) Run 6 60.96.avi - 850kb i so need an lsd. i think i'll put my locker in for the weekend next round. hopefully i'll have the twincarbs on by then too (lazy boy). at the moment, i think the car could do a 59, maybe even a 58 with a better driver. nick thinks it's capable of a 57, not with a single wheeler though i reckon

there's also the obligatory ae86, as well as the shigeno piece of crap. and the ae92 levin bz-r from gt2, which i used to love driving. i was keen for a te27 tho, who wants to drive a ta22 or a million different old skylines, drop one of them i reckon :P

welcome to the club :P

gt4 without a doubt enthusia is getting good raps, it comes out here in april i think, check au.playstation.com. richard burns rally is also apparently very hard

i used to own a ps1 just to play gt and tekken. with the release of ps2 there are more good games coming out. socom, midnight club, more tekkens  there's an 02 corolla runx in the game somewhere, like a zze122 thing, i've raced against it does your gt3 savegame only have 23k in it? you can import "up to" 100k

MIVEC. Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control system. uses an electronically actuated piston at high rpm to link two parts of the tappet that opens the valves, giving more lift and duration. makes the best sounding engine noise. ever.
-
i didn't say it's not good, plenty of people love it and it's been in the sony 10 bestselling list for months. i just said it wasn't realistic, because it's not, nowhere NEAR it  socom 2 has just gone platinum. hmm time to find 50 bucks...

there's a guy on oldrollas whose random qld numberplate ends in EGG. he decided to have an egg theme on his white car, so the engine bay is all orange and yellow. he cooked the engine a couple of months ago, you could sell him that one at vastly elevated prices

except you'd look like a huge nerd with that in your loungeroom

and to think that nfs underground is absolutely nothing like driving a real car

Are 3t-c Motors Worth A Damn?
Super Jamie replied to beatdownte27mango's topic in Engine Conversions
hey don't be so jealous, we just have ke25s over here, at least america got SOME te27s, we got none and you have to import one from new zealand or japan. there would be under 10 te27s in this country i reckon my ke25 here: http://www.superjamie.net/ke25/ -
how many friggin cars are in this thing hey? i reckon i would have spent 3 hours just going thru the menus looking at everything  track unlock days and car prize lists are up at gtplanet.net and gamefaqs.com make sure you train your b-spec driver up too, put him in different cars and on different tracks, evenly match the cars so his battle skill improves too. you'll need him when it comes time to do the 24hr endurance races some of the used cars are so cool. there's heaps of old skylines including kpgc10s, there's two different datsun 510s you can get, one of those boxy 80s rwd celicas. as well has heaps of old american muscle cars, and uk/euro things, like trumpy spirfire and original beetle. the only two cars i would have liked to have seen are an old mini like in gt3, and the daishin silvia from gt2

xbox and pc are ghey, you don't get gt4  yeah i have the prologue and gt3 save trick as well, i have a phat 99 wrx as well now, and still 50 grand in the bank. i haven't done any huge drifts yet, but it's fairly hard NOT to get a little bit broad in the mx5 or fd with some basic mods, i can do some awesome 4 wheelers around trial mountain in my mx5, that's like one of my 2 favorite tracks, the other being midfield i can't believe the amount of cool cars in this thing. cv8 monaro and ss commodore, fpv typhoon and gt. the back to the future de-lorean. a caterham lotus seven (something i've ALWAYS wanted in gt). the ali g renault 5 turbo. heaps of phat american muscle cars. lots of old favorites from gt2, i just keep going thru the car menus going OH YEAH i love how you can buy tuning brand products as well (even tho it all does the same thing) i have a re ameniya exhaust, hks intercooler and blitz ecu in my rx7 :D this game RULES
