  1. interesting, i'll run these thru dyno2000 sometime grind 57 or 18 (yours) would be the best for a 4k/5k
  2. holy crap. wheelstands-r-us!
  3. there's a ke20 in zoom this month with an sr20. stock internals, t3/4, autronic, 1000cc injectors and 2 bosch fuel pumps. 238kw at the wheels, 11.3 seconds that means 12.3 seconds in a ke55, or i can easily get a 12 out of my car with a CA :D
  4. panda suits ae86s and not much else. maybe a gayzelle
  5. sounds like somebody already converted your starlet 5k to solids rumor has it, you use holden red motor lifters and datsun a12 pushrods
  6. you have some black guy's head on your pubes? dude, wrong!
  7. i have full comp :D though i wouldn't write my car off and cash in unless it was totally destroyed or stolen. if it's overcast and i was going to a car show, i'd stuff a few thick blankets in the boot. what's worth more, 100 bucks of blankys from kmart, or all the time and effort of fixing your car?
  8. JESUS LOOK AT THE BRAKES! :) :D :S how do they fit them in 13s? they look HUGE :D
  9. i haven't seen them there before? shrug that's some cool shit. two piece engine mounts, CD igniton, 11k tacho and full gauge set, race seats, diff cooler and pump, much more useable gearbox ratios. note the sprung full circle clutch :D wtf compression are they running on that thing? those are some COLD plugs
  10. which one? there are many rex drift videos :D here's the midnight club thread http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=57411 and my lame little divx is attached. the last corner before i spin, i don't touch the wall
  11. gee wow, it's the toyota sports corner (note: NOT TRD) manual copied directly from steward ford's website where it has been for several years. stop press everyone time to give credit where credit's due http://drive.to/oldcorollas
  12. new zealand is better if you can stand the cold, they have phatter cars at better prices and their road traffic department doesn't have their head up their ass in regards to modified cars like they do here
  13. wow, that's mental. we went up the gold coast on saturday night and it was a bit rainy but nothing like that with a fairly new car with full comp insurance and hail damage, you usually have the option of just getting a new car. then they write the car off and you buy it back at a quarter of the price at pickles.com.au auction houses :D
  14. that's so awesome, i wish i could drift beaters with rollcages in the snow :D
  15. we similarly hate our governments' attitude to the road, but express it here: http://www.speedingisbullshit.com/
  16. seen this one before, thanks for sharing the link i'd lost it! how interesting is the production data :D
  17. that's way beyond my knowledge of welding, thought you may have luck asking stewart ford on the oldcorollas yahoo group, who is actually a doctor of metallurgy
  18. i'd actually be pretty keen to play midnight club 3, i have the first 2 and they're heaps of fun. not real serious, just good if you want to blast around causing trouble but still have a bit of challenge and reward, very well balanced game with lots of cool stuff
  19. lol that's hilarious :D my drift car at the moment is a 1964 ginetta g4, 165hp, 411kg, it cracks! i even have a small movie, i'll post it when i get home
  20. tosco manual is on stewart ford's website, i'd be interested to see if there's anything new (such as the 3k-r atlantic manual which i have some pics of)
  21. this one time, i took a work car out and my mate who had driven it yesterday said "oh you might want to get fuel, the light was on for a bit yesterday but i cbf filling it". i drove out the industrial estate, through town to the petrol station, pulled up and saw i'd overshot the pump a little, put it in reverse, stopped, pulled the handbrake on, went to reach for the key and the engine died. no fuel. THAT is living on the edge :D most fuel gauges in our cars are getting a bit old and the wire has a bit more resistance in it than new, so it reads wrong. i know mine can get below E and i can usually do a few short trips no worries
  22. change to manual :D
  23. HAHAHAHA that's awesome!!! all these are f@$king golden, i'm going to put them on my phone and tell them to everyone
