  1. yes this argument again. fwd is best for unmodified street commuting. rwd is best for decent street power. once you get f@$koff crazy power you need awd
  2. but they are well slow. my ke25 handles better than my mates wrx, i can beat him in twistys. brag brag :P
  3. most of us are pretty short :P
  4. i think it looks like a vacuum cleaner :P
  5. some seats that will fit with rail mods include aw11 mr2 s13 silvia (about the only thing they're good for) impreza wrx it's hard to find skinny seats that will go in a corolla comfortably. well it is when you have a ke25 anyway :P
  6. i believe you about the drysump, i didn't look into it much, you've obviously done more work than i :P shit that's pricey and fookie's right, factory 4ag exhaust manifold is good for 200hp, very little gain to be had replacing it with expensive extractors. this IS toyota we're talking about mate, their shit is good from the factory :)
  7. nothing wrong with fwd when you want to get from A to B cheaply, thats about all they're good for. the sole exception is a mitsubishi fto which handles better than most rwd cars anyway
  8. i'd remove the wing and front splitter and it would rock. mmm 20v
  9. nobody has made on because they usually look terrible, like that green thing. like every ae86 kit i've seen so far as well
  10. i have the video on my tv computer, you actually see the tacho hit somewhere around 12500. it's pretty hilarious
  11. you have to do a darryl on them. or maybe it was a phil. hold on, here's humphrey! :P
  12. that's an awful lot for a dry sump kit. i swear i've seen them going for as low as 5 grand?
  13. hahaha sorry just look at ian's current avatar picture, that's golden :P
  14. that's hilarious, i love the pictures :P
  15. no, the lord just doesn't like his car to sound like a gay droney fartbox
  16. e36 m3s had this problem where the gearbox mounts would twist under load, alot of people went to pick 5th (going flat out) and instead got 3rd. quite a few engines were replaced under warranty with pistons through the top of them
  17. tom, rock, wayne, bob. is this some kind of code like gone in 60 seconds?
  18. teddy is learning, i like this *mr burns* excellent, everything's falling into place
  19. seriously, that's how a thermofan shroud should be. fook does the best work :P
  20. sweet. 4 hp at the wheels, probably over 5 at the flywheel *nod* :P
  21. my oil pressure sits at about 15-20psi at idle, gets up around 50-60psi with some rpm. i think it's at max pressure after 4000rpm, thought i have my oil pump spring shimmed. i'd hope yours is too if you paid someone else to build you a race motor
  22. usually the tinny noise you hear with exhausts means the pipe is too big for the engine (3" exhaust on sr20 pulsar ARGH). exhaust tips with a folded over lip can also cause this everyone knows the best exhaust tip is a 4" black droopy
  23. lol haikal :P
  24. oh, and "extra long" extractors aren't so bad for a little K motor, i mean you're probably going to be restricting a few hp at most. maybe if you had a fully worked v8 where you're sacrificing 50+hp it might matter rotary extractors tuned for torque (keep in mind each housing only has one exhaust port) often join far far under the floorpan, sometimes just before the diff
