  1. Sticky starter motor for sure. All k one's end up doing it eventually.
  2. Man that was before the lakes/east coast run home! It's considerable worse now. I can hardly get up the hill on Algona rd without it spinning at some point.
  3. New clutch is immediate priority. Has been bad since I went on a cruise in December, but is terrible now. Won't even hold like 5psi. Should hopefully be picking one up tomorrow and have it fitted by the weekend. Just got an exedy hd this time not a button. See how it goes. Next on the list is to sort brackets for my ls1 coils. Got another 4k block last week that i can use for mock up on the engine stand. Once that's made I can fit the cas and coil, bigger injectors and the wind the boost up some more. :)
  4. So I didn't get around to putting the specs list up last night.... Front: Shockwoorks 86 base height adjustable coilover, 6kg springs, inverted 45mm 15 way adjustable dampers. T3 86 steering arms T3 roll centre adjusters T3 camber plates T3 strut brace All new bushes and ball joints Ae86 brakes with slotted and dimpled rotors Also did the rear a couple of months ago but didn't update, is now: Reversed eye main leaves Shockworks base height adjustable 15 way dampers All new bushes
  5. So here's some more pics.....
  6. ....and then got his old man on and wound it up lol
  7. Who's wagon? :P
  8. Your welcome to drop in and help tonight if you want mate. Think Andrew is already coming round after work. I'll text you the new address.
  9. Yeah right, you have bugger all clearance. With a 205 I'm obviously going to get 5mm closer but wasn't sure how much deflection I might get. Good point about camber, steering angle etc resulting in not as much deflection compared to the rear. Mine are shockworks base height adjustables for an 86. As i said before I won't get an accurate position of the (preload) adjuster rings until they're in the car and have weight on them. ..which will hopefully be tomorrow.
  10. Is this still going to be a burnout bus? I'm a big rotor fan (and owner) but will admit they're probably not the best burnout power plant.
  11. The man is on the money. That's ''dirt's'' final resting place. Moved house a few weeks ago so had to get the shell out of the old shed. Thought I'd cut the roof off it for some rust repair metal before it went. In other news, plan is to get new coilovers in tomorrow. Just waiting for a couple of little adapter sleeves to bee machined.
  12. Early or late t50? If early it has the same front yoke as a k box!
  13. :(
  14. Here's a couple of pics of my clearance. Note I haven't yet set a definitive ride height on the base adjustment so this may change a bit yet, hopefully may only need to go up so that will give me a bit more clearance.
  15. No rca's? This thread it's rather interesting for me re tyre deflection as I'm just about to fit my new coilovers and am a bit concerned about the amount of clearance I have off the adjuster rings. Currently have 195's stretched over 9's but really want to go 205's on the front.
  16. Didn't happen if we don't see a video ;)
  17. I've got some 27mm bolt on spacers for sale if you want to get them out a bit more!
  18. Not really going to notice it
  19. Fraction lighter but still interchangeable
  20. Didn't even know there was a bmx thread in here. Got the kid into racing now. Was unofficially (no placings) second fastest 6yo in the state titles last year. Rides a redline mx mini, damn it's light!

  22. Ah ok. Might not be too bad. Should definitely be responsive, hopefully just doesn't choke it in the top end. Did you see my custom sr20/k dual pulse cas? I'm just about to borrow another motor so I can mock up some brackets for my 4 ls1 coil packs. They're worth looking into if you haven't got any yet. Readily available, cheap and best of all internal igniter!
  23. Btw, what is that custom dizzy/cas?
  24. Diesel?
  25. What turbo is that? It looks a bit on the small side! I personally think a t25 is too small for a worked k.
