Todays and tonights efforts, I took the sump and windage tray to work and put them in the hot tank to remove all the crud and to knock out the dent in the sump, I then installed it with some stainless hex bolts, There is only very minor parts holding me up at the moment but the clutch is the main part.

I'm not 100% sure, All i know is that it was in the same spot that the tanker exploded a while back, The guy from work that seen the car on the side of the road lives at gatton so it wont be any further than that, I shall find out tomorrow.

Well the good news is is that it was insured and it is going to be repaired.

The car raced at the morgan park historics on the weekend taking out 2 trophies, 1 for handicap racing and the other for its class.

Well some of you may remember this car from the random photo thread: Well it has been a very long build process for the owner John which had just included 6 months of extensive body work and paint (since it was damaged in a roll over by peter williamson), Long story short the owner had spent $$$$ into the triple digits to get it where it was and the last stop on its journey was to our workshop as it was meant to race on the weekend, Unfortunatly there was alot of work to complete in just one week so the owner (John) decided that he would just take it out to the track (morgan wark - warwick) to put on show as it was a historics event, He came into work friday arvo and picked the car up and was travelling home to toowoomba before taking it out to warwick when a car drove out infront of him on the notorious plainland/laidley stretch of the warrego highway, From what we know so far is he was doing highway speed (80-100kmh) and a car has crossed the intersection infront of him which he T-Boned into causing the trailer to break away sending the car and trailer into the bushes, I have not seen the car in its damaged state but i am told that it is in very bad shape which is not something the owner would be happy about, If i was in his shoes i would more than likely give up. All the best to John to try and get the car back to its glory again.

Thats insane, The pics are a bit old but thats better than nothing, My house where all you can see in the carport is the KE25 of Jips and the Green Seca, Pity you can't see into the back as thats where all my rolla's were at the time:

But the guy beside us got away and the cop wasnt too happy when i was arguing that either.
-
Pretty sure i spotted Matt (littleredspirit) along the warrego highway at blacksoil in his triton with the CR on the back.

Try pushing the button in a few times in a row when the car is stationary, The numbers normally jump back in line.
