I hate the term 'EX SHOW CAR' Oh so it used to look good or what? Anyone can drive their car to a car show and show it.

Stuff the mild mods, Now going turbo.

A quick pic of the inlet manifold since it had a good wash and i blasted it today, The throttle body will be getting a good clean tomorrow. (sorry bout the quality but the pic was taken with my phone as i didnt take my camera to work) Also gonna get another turbo for this well a bigger one anyway as the GT25 is going elsewhere.

You know that the oil cap is to only put engine oil in right, Its not there to put the dipstick in and measure where the oil is, The oil level is where the dipstick sits in the tube.

Seen a blue KE3* wagon driving along pine mtn rd brassall the other day with a front mount.

They remove it from the face edge and the back of it, I will get some pics tomorrow.

Dunno, I will weigh one tomorrow and compare it to a stock one.

Yeah i know some are capable of it but out of all the ones they have made at work none of them have broken and they arent used in stock applications, I think its also where you take the metal out that matters.

I put power to the started to make sure nothing hits in the bellhousing area and to make sure the starter engages correctly and it wnet the way it was supposed to and all i did was bolt the T50 up to the engine that came out of the seca, No mods or changes, The box will be coming back off so i can put the exedy in and a spigot bearing, I also might be getting my flywheel lightend majorly at work but I'm not sure yet, Carby manifold is supposed to be here friday, Carbs should be kitted in the next 2 weeks and the engine will be in but i don't have any extractors as yet, Here is a vid of the engine winding over:

I spoke to my boss today who has ran many times out at the Mt Cotton hill climb and his car has never had to be regd, Hope the same goes for the skid pan.

No you have your own now :n: I have found a AE82 FXGT front bar, I might see if i can grab it and chuck it on.

I took the cam cover backing plate to work and blasted it off so i can paint it, It will be done in black crinkle coat to match the cam covers and should look good with the hks gears and a clear cover. EDIT: I forgot to mention that i have also found a RWD middle timing cover so i can eliminate the engine mount hole.

The ecotec was a buick motor aswell, It was just holdens own advancement which made it crap.

RWD manifold looks like new now as i took it to work and put it in the washing machine, I'm going to take a few parts in and bead blast them so i can paint them.

Terry borrowed my extractors so he could do some testing on his AE82 FXGT so while they were at the workshop the o2 sensor plate has been all fixed up, They are now right to bolt use when i get the engine back in.

When i was at the wreckers the other day looking at AE82's i came across one that had a door lock/unlock switch so i grabbed it as that is what i needed to modify my central locking, I want to be able to unlock the car and only have my door open up and then flick the switch to unlock the others, PIC:
