So what caltex fuel did you use? What you mean welcome back ive been here just not as much as i have to work 6 days a week :) , i have a list of non ethanol toyotas i will put it up in a sec.

Hey Nick caltex vortex here in qld is only 95 and not 98 (is changing now tho, 2 already selling 98) and that is probably why your car ran different.

EDIT: I just checked the BMI listing and they list the 4AFC so just give them a yell and ask if they have 1 in stock.

Considering the 4k has its maximum hp at 5600rpm id say that you can rev past that but you wont make anymore power.

Redbook also sez 59kW but its a odd situation due to different tunes and so on, so i think he will be happy if we say you have 59-61kW :)

Sorry you had 79 kW and got me confused. I got the values off a few sites including a toyota engine site.

82HP is 61kW. where did you get the 59 and 79 figures from.

The 6AFC is 1397cc, it has 82HP (not sure of rpm) and 87lb ft (117 Nm) of torque (unsure of rpm) with a compression ratio of 9.5:1.

1st place was my ET Turbo Exa, diesel turbo, exhaust and cold air induction. 2nd place was my vr clubsport, just stock. 3rd place was my 05 triton 3.0 v6.

Something about that colour just has a reaction with them wheels and makes it look clean and hot, i would also keep the door strips on there but thats my opinion. :)

Good points felix, i forgot to mention that a stainless exhaust on that car would probably sound too tingy.

Do a 2inch full single system you wont look back trust me, and if you really want a dual system (i know it a hyundai thing) but get a dummy box for the other side.

Hey if you guys need a run thru on rust repair i will do 1 up when i get my rear guard done (pics and steps), My brother is a qualified spray painter/panel beater so i wont lead u astray.

If your head has been skimmed a few times or its had a big skim the bolts are probably too long and are just hitting the bottom of the thread and not pullin the head down, if it didnt get hot or anythin like that you should be able to get away with a skim/shave, where did it blow exactly?.

Put a spring on your secondary so it opens easier.

The exhaust aint on the same side as the inlet so yes its a x-flow

Yeah but the whole object of the game is to be a simulator so they have aimed it to be used with a wheel but 1 won 6/10 races i did with the keyboard before i got the wheel then it went to around 8/10.

Yeah keyboard sucks ass, you can set a button in your controls for fast steering it helps a bit but not alot, See if you can use the mouse as it is a bit faster. Another thing, do you have your keyboard on stabilised or normal.

I reckon that that would work really well, It is just like putting a high rise manifold on an 8 to allow the air/fuel to mix properly and get more power out of it.

Did you do a wet compression test or a dry one.
