  1. It has the A40D (3sp auto), was going down this route once before with my ae71 with a 4agte, found out that they aren't a trimatic but can be built to withstand power, I was going for a stall and a shift kit.
  2. RWD or FWD?
  3. A supercharger or the torque from a 7A, at the time of the video I had taller then standard tyres so it took off slower then it does now.
  4. Standard 2 speed, Toyoglide as it is known as, yes 55MPH or 88km/h.
  5. Done. Ground is so wet here (doesn't help with a creek in the back yard) that the neighbours clothes line fell over.
  6. Ha :lolcry:
  7. Nice, Carlos Sainz scoops are a bit more fancier then the standard GT4 scoop.
  8. Joys of having 8000rpm to play with. (old vid and has improved since then as it was when I first put the engine in)
  9. Hi guys, today at church I prayed for more rain, I hope this doesn't come between us. Trev.
  10. Mr's 82 seca is a bigport auto (conversion into csx), although it isn't a fighter jet off the line it does get up an go pretty well and does 100k's in 1st which gives you a bit of pulling power next to those commo's or wrex's, give it a little bit more off the line torque and it will scream.
  11. After all this I wouldn't wanna rally it as it will get dirty, good work turd brothers.
  12. Just put the factory tacho dash in.
  13. Should be just able to put the tacho dash in.
  14. No point in surfacing a head if it is already straight...
  15. Give this number a call 31629672 and let him (Eric) know then, I am sure that the info you have supplied will be a great help since nearly every engine we rebuild has been because of over heating and not one head has been warped and not one has come back with a blown head gasket.
  16. Get a blank fitting from pirtek.
  17. Only need to skim the head if it is warped, best thing to do is to scrape the gasket and then hit the surface with a scotch brite wizzer pad to clean the rest of the surface and then measure it.
  18. Rip it off, clean the head up, clean the block surface and throw it back together (with a new gasket for you noobs).
  19. See how I go.
  20. 4ace efi is a bit hard to find, best to source it from NZ, anything else is just a waste of time IMO (Ford TBI etc) and you would be best off with a full engine conversion.
  21. Gonna be funny when you go to snap 2nd and pull the window winder off :P
  22. Lead 2 & 3.
  23. This and a bike tie down wrapped around a support beam, I helped camerondownunder88 pull his out this way, I lifted the motor while he took the slack out of the tie down, repeat the process till it is high enough.
  24. I save the image from banner maker, resize it and host it at photobucket.
  25. Is it running at temperature? They can flat spot if running cold.
