  1. Ruts: Umm... I suppose I could make another one... :D *edit* There you go. Hmm, clouds and scenery moved around a bit :) BTW I have much much bigger version too, not sure if you have access to it but if you do the URL is: http://images5.fotki.com/v55/free/c4551/1/...71000052-or.jpg Else give me email address, I send to you :)
  2. Pics are fun :D
  3. Have already put a post up on Twincam16, but no replies as yet. I have wiring diagrams for both 4AGE as well as KE35, just have no idea how to actually join them together...
  4. Okay, I just *had* to go and look at it again, so here we are: 2003 ZCars WR100 *edit* Teddy: Clubman - Locost, Lotus 7, that sort of car. Generally look like the above car.
  5. Medicine_Man: No, it was a clubman :D
  6. Have big doubts if anyone here can help me, but thought I'd throw the question up anyway. Currently wiring up a small port 4AGE loom into a KE35 Corolla, have a few questions: 1) 4AGE has bipolar (or something) ign barrel, can I just wire both circuits up to my ign barrel? They run through a 40A and 30A fusible link, do I need to run these fusible links too? I've got a 100A circuit breaker on the battery (in the boot). I don't have the 4AGE fuse box so don't have any fusible links or fuses or relays at the moment. 2) 4 wires that I think go to the ign barrel in the 4AGE. I have IGN (B-O) and ST1 (B-W), do I wire up the other two (both B-R, one big, one small) to AM and ACC? 3) Input power to the EFI loom - 10A Ignition - do I just take this off any wire that has power on IGN on? - 15A EFI - is this a constant power source? 4) EFI Main relay, can I just use a 30A generic relay? 5) Circuit Opening Relay, I would assume I need to find/buy one of these, I can't run a generic relay? 6) I have a whole heap of wires that I think are meant to go to the dash (or somewhere thereabouts). I have identified tacho and fuel wires, any one have any idea what the rest are? 7) Next to the distributor plug there is a 6-pin plug, what is this? So as far as I can tell I need to wire in the ign barrel (4 wires?), and the 4 power sources (10A IG, 15A EFI, 15A STOP and 7.5A GAUGE) and I should be set as far as power goes? Where do the big white wires go? I know they're meant to be to power, but they don't seem to go anywhere in the actual engine loom? Thanks
  7. Oh yeah, that too :D
  8. CAMS licence You will probably be interested in Levels 1, 2NS and 2S, so I will concentrate on these. 1) How old do u have to be Level 1: 12 and older Level 2NS: 16 and older Level 2S: 18 and older 2) What previous driving skills / lisences do u require / compolosry None. All you need is application form and indemnity(Level 1) or Medical Statement (2S, 2NS) 3) What are the different (if any) classes of Cams Lisences Lots. 4) How Much does it Cost (inc GST, per year) Level 1: $20 Level 2NS: $44 Level 2S: $83 5) Where do you Learn the rules for this Cams lisence, and what do u have to learn I think you get a little book or something. There aren't many rules for basic licences, really. If there are I don't know them either :D For more specific licences like Rally and Circuit you have to go for a lecture thing and take a tests etc. I've done the Rally lecture/test, wasn't very difficult. 6) Can any 1 go for the liesence? I can't see why not as long as you have the requirements 7) anthing else which is good to know / hints / tips etc Join a car club (eg HSCCQ, BSCC), get to know people in the sport, participate in events and put your hand up to help out if you can...
  9. Sounds like a cool idea, has been done before with several other cars. I've seen a clubman with 2 x motorcycle engines (did I put a link up for that one? I think I did), have heard of a Hyundai Accent with 2 x 4G63 Evo engines (4WD), to name a few. As you expected, Teddy - your idea would not really work. For a start, if you mount the 4K straight up it will have oil issues. 2ndly, even though there is a heap of space in the engine bay, I doubt there is enough to fit two of them in there (including accessories). But, sounds like a fun idea anyway...
  10. Nitephyre: No seats yet, can't make vrrm vrrm sounds... :D
  11. For a calendar, I don't see any reason to be using 4-megapixel photos - no harm mind you, but not necessary... 2 megapixel can quite easily be blown up to A4 size without pixelation. I've got a photo of my car, but my photo album is down at the moment, I'll put it up later. Would be nice if I get a chance to put the AE35 in there too :D Dash and headlights went in today, I now have all chassis electricals (bar fuel pump) :) So I can sit in the car and turn the lights on and off, turn the fan and wipers on... :)
  12. If I can get a CUSCO 2 way LSD brand new to suit a TA22 celica diff (small axle T-series) for $800 (or even a bit more) delivered I'm sold, show me the bank account and I'll show you the money :D
  13. Cusco 2 way for $800??? Where at??? I'm interested already :D
  14. Hmm... That would mean I need to wash the car hey... Can I just provide photos of when the car was clean? :D

  16. You would think I should be able to answer these questions... But for some reason I can't... Either brain not working or data is not there... From 4AC to 4AGE all you need really is the engine, and bits to make it RWD (or if you find a RWD 4AGE then all the better). I think if you have a 4AC you can reuse like water pump and bits to convert the FWD 4AGE to RWD config. You can reuse your T50 and all those bits. Oh yeah, you'll need RWD exhaust manifold and pipes to join up too (I have 4-2-1 extractors that might be for sale). And surge tank, fuel lines, fuel pump etc.
  17. Hmm... I don't think I'll ever forget the sound of the quad slide-action Mikuni's on the side of that small port 4AGE that was in Red Rocket (the KE25 that used to belong to Paul Pyvvarra)... OH WOW.
  18. Teddy: In case you're wondering, I'm not Rob :ninja:
  19. NickAE86: #2 Sprinter, is that the car John was selling awhile ago? Looks soooo familiar...
  20. I haven't owned that many cars (budget has not allowed), but here is my ontourange anyway... #1: 1984 Mitsubishi Colt sedan (early 1999 - early 2000). Cheapest car I've ever owned, sold it for what I bought it, spent nothing on it while I owned it... #2: 1992 Hyundai Excel X2 (early 2000 - April 2001). Lost the most money on this, spent more than twice what I bought it for in maintenance, sold it for less than half of what I bought it for... Sadly enough, quickest car I've ever owned, with a 0-100 of just under 9 secs. #3: 1991 Mitsubishi Lancer CB GSR (March 2001 - April 2002). Great car, wasn't awfully quick, but handled a heap better than the Excel and was heaps fun to drive. Unfortunately spent too much money on this car too, yet a lot of it's time was spent in the workshop... Started getting into motorsport with this car, ended in tears: (BTW, those 16's are for sale too) #4: 1981 Toyota Corolla KE55 XX (May 2002 - present). Had no money (due to massive loss in rolling of GSR a month after spending more than $3K in suspension that I couldn't sell), bought it with every last penny I had. Fun car, slower than you can imagine, generally quite cheap, easily the most unreliable car I've ever owned. It's been pretty good the past few months though (probably because I've replaced just about EVERYTHING on the car) #5: 1981 Toyota Corona XT130 XX (Nov 2002). Bought simply because I wanted the struts, mags and seats. Also managed to sell the transmission. Unfortunately due to a stuff up never did get the mags. #6: 1975 Toyota Corolla KE35 CS (August 2003 - present). Project car. Don't ask me why, I can't answer myself.
  21. Teddy: 32712411 They are probably (AFAIK) the cheapest wreckers near Brisbane, I get a lot of my parts from there. And then on the way back you can stop by ABC Wreckers, and then Salisbury Wreckers. :ninja: Else, Kelly Wrecking in Zilmere's pretty good too...
  22. Are you planning on putting bigger/different rims on it? If so, I might be interested in those mags (if they fit on my car) :ninja:
  23. There is an aircond system for a 4K at Wacol Pick&Pay.
