  1. Back again i see :rolls: :lmao:
  2. Yeah i wondered if you did, i was going to ask about it but you got caught up talking to JiP about another place.
  3. Been talking to some friends and they said about Lake Moogerah near Boonah. Having a look at the Lake Moogerah Caravan Park web page and http://www.queenslandholidays.com.au/accommodation/camping-and-caravans/lake-moogerah-caravan-park/index.cfm But both web site contradict each other with pricing. Going to have to ask our mate about the place again cause he reckoned there was free camping.
  4. Have to agree lol Had visions of table dancing there after :blinks:
  5. JiP as always is the first to have his camp site up And as always Phatke20s (Dougie) is always the last to setup - fashionably late most people would call it :P Meet our newest member. He was a real possum of entertainment Top night and can't wait for the next Hopefully we don't have a group of pretzels from the camp site over turning up begging for fire sticks. Oh well at least it was cheap entertainment..... Edit - fixed picture
  6. Just about to leave for the grounds so we'll see ya all there.
  7. I didn't even see the carby and its location till now. Having an intercooler like that can be done, but it should not be done. Basically winding the motor over till it kicks. Shouldn't take that long cause of the pools of fuel that'll be left behind after the motor is turned off. Think of the amount of fuel and its vapour that'll be sitting in the intercooler just waiting for a nice little backfire or something, it'll be like a bomb.
  8. Air to water intercooler. Bit more complex to setup but i think the benefits of the setup, on a road/street car, outweigh that of an air to air intercooler setup.
  9. Oh and amber'll be grabbing bread rolls from work as well
  10. This is what we are Bringing- 4 Adult Chairs + 1 kid chair (for Rob) :-p 6 man Tent Lancer Ke30 Torches/ Lantern Lots of Bacon BBQ utensils Marshmallows Esky............... Alcohol to Celebrate Amber's Birthday ( a week late) Doug you still bringing some fire wood...... :-) Edit- Stupid Laptop
  11. Thought it was pretty cool how on the dynojet with the gear changes and Holy phuck me when the revs just shot up. Looked a bit unsettled on the track. Bit of a hand full ?
  12. We'll meet up out at the grounds. Just don't forget the $2.50 (no change given) per car and the $7.90 per person.
  13. And a quick search http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?app=forums&module=forums&section=attach&tid=21095 http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/21095-supercharged-3t-c-ke30/
  14. Makes two of us that don't really like the idea of a draw-through turbocharging. The only good thing about this style of turbo setup is the ease of doing it - just move the carby from near the motor to the other side of the turbo. That is between the air filter and turbo. Nothing else needs to be done, unless you feel like playing around with fuel mixtures to try and get it running even better. Downsides are, or can be, major headaches - lag time between giving the motor a boot full and the motor powering up can be painful at times. Have a google on it. And do the same with "Blow-through turbocharging" Bit harder to setup but its a lot better. Not as good as efi but still better.
  15. We're going to head straight out from here around 11am to lay claim to a spot for JiP's rolling tent and the rest of us. It'll be easier for us as well
  16. Sweet :) Looks like the friends of ours arn't coming out due to work.
  17. Jono, just having a :poke: at ya thats all. I'd have a google on "hypermiling" as well.
  18. :hmm: that really helps We'll have spare space in the tent. A sleeping bag or two, one of those roll out camping mattress thingies. A torch to scare away those scary monsters at night Would you be needing plate, cup, utensils ? Plus we'll be bringing about 2kg of bacon :lolcry:
  19. What other supplies do you need ?
  20. Found something that might work http://www.physorg.com/news135003243.html :hmm:
  21. You and this hydrogen stuff :P: How about a couple of grass eaters and plug a hose into each one, run the hoses to a tank of some description which in turn feeds a vacuum pump into a tank bit like a LPG gas tank so that the methane can be compressed before it goes into the motor. Different grains to increase the fart power
  22. 10-96 10-15 But thats not your 10-20  Might be an idea to bring an umbrella Or soap on a rope :)
  23. 1C not C1 but i'm just being picky. I'm a fan of the diesels. But don't go expecting all the u-bute fuel economy that your seeing from the late model oil burners. Its all from being computer controlled, direct injection, common rail, turbo, etc etc. Grab yourself one of those Weber carby adapter plates and go on the hunt for a CPI throttle body (Centre Point Injection), they come under a few other names as well, from the EA falcon (amongst others) and then grab a Megasquirt or if your willing to give it a go a Delco from the camira, pulsar, commodore, you'll just need the Kalmaker software. http://www.gassavers.org/
  24. Bugger :bash:
  25. For some reason or another i just didn't even realize that after i clicked on the disable button, thinking "i'm browsing the forum on the phone so the re-enable button should be there." Stoopid me :) Might do a Trev and hit you up on the idea
