  1. One trailer that dad had a few years back was fairly light (5' x 4' from memory) and he just made up a leg thing that swung up between the draw bar.
  2. Did they write on the tin somewhere of the different colours and their weights that was used in the paint ? The place i was working at it was a "must do" no matter if it was paint match or off the computer (eg subie silver) the colours and weights had to be written down on the tin. Be good if you could run the same rims on the trailer as on the car. Same like what those ski boat owners do. :jamie:
  3. They don't, unless the previous owner fitted one from the late ke55 or its an aftermarket one, which is normally a bolt-on job. The easiest way to figure it out is a couple of photos.
  4. An axle with 5 studs :P Say, like, the rx7 hopper stopper kit for the front like Taz said and a Hi-lux diff for the back. But in the term of it, you've got to ask yourself "Is it really worth the hassle?" Like, are you planning on running massive horsepower that needs huge brakes and a heavy diff ? If its just a charged 5k that your planning on i wouldn't bother wasting the money. Its not just the parts and labor that you'll be paying for but also the cost of a mod plate just so that you can pick from a board range of the wheels.
  5. Had a look at the photo and it looks in a different spot to where i put mine. Off to the centre side of the speaker hole :hmm: Haven't really been driving the turtle for a while. Think its cause of not feeling all that good lately and the lancers been a bit easier cause of being auto which has lead me back to thinking of going back to an auto again. GM's 4L30 automatic, basically its a 4 speed trimatic with a separate bellhousing like the 3L30 (aka TH180, aka Trimatic). But at the moment the whole idea has stopped dead in the water - too much work for very little benefit. So if i do go auto it'll have to be the trimatic.... Had a friend make up a crocheted blanket for the back seat a few weeks back, had it in the car for the camping trip we went on and damn does it make the seat nice and comfy. No photos of it yet cause its been taken out so that a backing sheet can be sewed to it so that it doesn't go out of shape. Been thinking of a visor over the windscreen and a dash cover but i"m sure of a type - one of those typical carpet type ones from the auto shop or..... maybe something like an old bath towel.... I'll get the thermo-fan fitted one of these days as well Plus some gauges that work how they should.....
  6. That one makes me think of the video clip my brother showed me.
  7. Yep  part no.4418 "14 & 18mm Air hold fitting set" Times like these i wish i was still at my old job.
  8. In the engine bay, what does the build plate say ? More to the point, what does the "Trans/Axle" part of the plate say ?
  9. So what Belladonna goes hard too....
  10. Gemini is a 100x4 stud pattern, same as a fwd. My brother was using the wheels from the camira on his old gemie at one stage.
  11. To a point. K50 from either a ke3x or ke55 will be a straight fit, where as the K50 from the ke70 will need the hole for the gear shifter modified. How To Fix K Motor Oil Leaks
  12. So far at the moment amber's working new years eve. Have been pushing to get those days off
  13. My opinion of that - no tire flex when you hit a pot hole, the ride will be shut on the typical aussie road. And you'll have everybody checking out your poofy undersized brakes behind your rice racer hot wheels rims.
  14. Can you go and grab me an id107
  15. I was going to say that Marine ply would have been good for the job but since the pretzel used ordinary interior ply i won't say it.... Apart from i'm watching for the ideas, i'm wanting to do the same thing as well.
  16. Pretty sure you'll have girlock calipers. From memory if you have a look at the top of the caliper it'll say "girlock" on it.
  17. Kinda brings things into prospective with how easy it is to phuck it up at speed even when you do have the talent.
  18. 427 powered with a top loader (thats only four gears to you kiddies) and over 200+kph
  19. WGMG - constant yawning, muscle stiffness in the lower jaw (feels almost like lock jaw), feeling tired. But damn it i want my once and only hallucination to come back again. She was, urm, rather pretty :P
  20. Antidepressants 8/ enough said :poke:
  21. Firstly - Take it back and bitch about it. My idea is that you have air in the system. Disc brakes - Unless your planning on some massive power upgrade, i wouldn't bother with it.
  22. Unless its some oddball 4af (or 4afe) block you wouldn't be able to use it in a rwd cause it doesn't have to bolt holes for the rwd engine mounts.
  23. True it can be a bit of "Caveat emptor" with somethings which is why its a good thing to be able to cross reference parts and keep the receipts if something has to go back, yadda yadda yadda. But anywhat the outer tie rods for the ke70/ae71/ae86 are the same (PAJA catalogue gives the part number as TE3676R, whereas Protex is TE803R) Ball joints are the same as well BJ145 across the board from ke30 - ae86 and everything inbetween unless its something from left field
  24. I'm not overly sure on that one Yes. Except for the van and t-18
