  1. Linkie no workie I fixie fixed
  2. Looks more like a Gnome rotary engine but then on the other side of it the "engine" is bolted down so it can't spin. And the gnome wouldn't have a need for the oil filter since it runs on a total lose system. Top find
  3. Phucking lollies Most people that know my son know that lollies tend to send him off the deepend and a little hypo But they still give him lollies and then turn around and wonder why he's getting hypo. Why we have a cupboard full of the damn things is really beyond me.....
  4. Yeah, not long after i posted my last message i had a look at the docket and had a good laugh. Girlfriend took it back for me on friday (i have a feeling they now call her the "cranky lady") and gave them a revving over it. About 30min or so after she left she got a call to say the correct gasket was in.... Anywhat a new one - Telstra go figure :( Got a phone call from them the other day to tell us that our outstanding bill (thats all good cause when we had our landline and net disconnected we left with money owing) is overdue by 6 months or so. But, what no-one can figure out is yes the money has been dribbling over to them week by week on automatic payments which has been noted by them. And soooo now an investigation is now underway in to why the payments are going into an account thats no longer valid. I so hope someones head is going to roll after this.
  5. Made me think of the 4wd rodeo getting around town, looks like its been lifted so that the fool can fit 22's under it.
  6. Yeah and their way of counting is - one, two, many.
  7. Have a head gasket on order for the 5k and so far this is the second time i've been handed this bloody thing And i'm positive that i gave them all the info "Toyota" "Lite-ace" "1986" "KM36" "5K" "4 Cylinder" 4 is just one finger after 3 isn't ??? Thank phuck i'm just doing the 5p's and its not something that i needed 3 weeks ago....
  8. Just found something you might take an interest in
  9. How the heck did your sister get the name "The Blood Blister" ????
  10. You can have your bowel cancer and i'll gladly take the n13 knowing that i can leave my bag of poo at the door. :D
  11. When someone tells you "get out of it" "What, i'm not even in it...." Yet :D :D
  12. Do we really need to be talking about stupid high speeds, unless its on the track and not some public road for some mr/ms plod to scream out HOOH and there she blows for the rest of us
  13. It has been covered more then a few times on the forum. Corona (RT104?)struts fit - but with a few mods. RA40 struts like you said - not sure about mods or anything. T-18(te72)/AE86 struts are the easiest to fit. Basically need the steering arms from either the T-18, AE86, Corona, Celica as long as it used the 51mm diameter strut and also swap the top hat (the part that bolts the strut to the car body) and your fairly set. All this struts take the 51mm shock absorber. Good range of shockies. They all can be modified for a coil-over setup, but if your aiming for coil-overs go straight for the Corona cause the main mod in fitting it into the Corolla is swapping spring hats from the corona to the corolla.
  14. I'm taking it you've learnt from the Vito with all this multiple redundancy stuff
  15. Ahh but just remember diesel fuel, just like the Russian dirt from the north, freezes :P
  16. Its the F250. Saw one today. Don't mind the grumble of the diesel v8.
  17. Posts #25-26 Wasn't having a dig at you or anything Trev. Just that i thought it was interesting in that if one wanted to they could get real picky and start quoting chassis numbers "CB2A–CB4A-CD9A" of the lancer and fto. Might be able to get it slipped past a mod plate. Mitsubishi 6a10 v6 was used in the lancer/mirage. But anywhat, had a brief look into dropping a v6 (2mz i think it was) into my old '82 seca one time and from memory the hardest parts of it would have been mounts and custom driveshafts.
  18. Interesting in a way cause the FTO was just a re-bodied lancer/mirage from the same year. And they share the same engine mounts.
  19. My S999 AE86 Sprinter with the 3s-gte and all the for-zal 2 mods would have creamed it as well :fuzz:
  20. To me the castor angles is ok cause of the car being a right hand drive. From memory toe setting are normally toed in on the front and back due to mr and mrs average. Toeing the front wheels out a bit is ok, not only will it help with turn-in response but the average FWD under power will toe the front wheels in. Rearend - basically toe-out = oversteer. Toe-in = understeer. Whats the bearings like ? Should be able to just compress the springs, undo the top of the struts and give the strut a bit of a spin around to see if its bent. http://www.redlinegti.com/forum/ http://www.teamswift.net/ Are two pretty good forums. I'm pretty sure Redline is more aussie based. Edit - Just noticed your already a member of Redline.
  21. Early KE30 would be my guess
  22. interesting I wonder what breed of motor it'll run. Never know the "K" motor might make a come back. Just like ford did with the Ka and its 1lt escort motor from the 70's.
  23. I hate direct drive compressors I'd really love to be able to get a Peerless P14 belt drive. But yeah like Felix and Trev - it'd be the size of the compressor thats letting you down What type of spray gun are you using ? Gravity feed, you'll be needing a good sized compressor. The average compresor at supercheap wouldn't really be running it all that well, if at all. Employee discounts, what a bloody joke at work. I could of gotten the same tool chest at bunnings for cheaper.
  24. Adds paid by the taxpayer If all your going to do is backstab then piss the phuck off from my taxpaying back pocket
  25. There fixed
