  1. Yes they will. But you will have to change the top hats over. Thats the part that bolts the strut to the body
  2. Nar it was just case of that i wanted the stuff but not that badly It was for a set of motorbike throttle bodies without the injectors. I've seen sets on ebay with injectors and wiring going for less
  3. Question - why does the diff have to be welded ?
  4. I like that one :( I think at the moment my boss is grinding his gears at me cause i told him that my girlfriend now has a job and that it looks like i'm going to have to be taking my eldest to school in the mornings. Sorry dude but my family comes first and then work. I'm only really working to help support my family.
  5. Yup, thought of that already 3k Diy Stealth Efi Setup, Can you see my efi??? From what i can figure there's not really much difference between the megasquirt I and megasquirt II apart from the kit starts from $145US $187US for the lot http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/megasqu...d-kit-p-46.html It'll work with the relutor style dizzy or delete the dizzy and go dizzyless Yes and no negative is the cost outlay positive is the maintenance side positive is also that being programmable is the easy of upgrades. Cam change - redo the map. Can also plug an old PDA into it as well for on the road changes, EG crap fuel.
  6. Talking about custom stuff and welding and all that crap. Been thinking of modifying an aisan "k" carb into something like this Injected carbies Either that or a set of quads or twins from a motorbike. And then its http://www.tweakit.net/shop/product_info.php?products_id=231 and weld four short sections of pipe to these http://www.tweakit.net/shop/product_info.p...products_id=138 for the motorbike throttlebodies
  7. And to think my boss the other day was saying just how great the build quality is from germany. Far superior then the jap build quality....
  8. 3K-H A - goes to the fuel tank evaporation hose, bit like the charcoal box. B - goes to the top section of the aircleaner box. The cover. C - goes to the timing chain cover.
  9. More then a few people in toowoomba are like that - swing as far to the left as they can get just to make a right hand turn and vise verse for a left hand turn. Down right stupid, just like driving around in poor conditions without the headlights on. Ebay sniping :ninja: Put a bid on something last night $90 and i was the 3rd bid. Till there was 30seconds left and it shot up to 14 bids and a win of $200 :(
  10. Nice. Always had a soft spot for the sedan. Now you just need to find either the 2vz or 2mz and v6 the chariot.
  11. Yeah true true but haven't you heard a yellow light is treated as a red light.
  12. More of a "what bugs me" but people that just have to race up to the traffic lights and then hit the brakes. Like why the phuck do it, their not going to change just cause your racing up to them.
  13. "Cash for clunkers" pft what a joke. Sure my '30 might have a market value under 2 grand but how the hell am i going to afford the repayments on a new car along with the cost of rego, maintenance, insurance, fuel. I'm keeping my third love.... Sorry to say it but for me and my family of "wife" and two kids, it won't work - we're thinking of a bigger car. You try fitting four people (at the moment five - three adults and two kids), a minimum of $150 of grocery's and a days shopping of other crap into a car smaller then the lancer. I need a bigger car damn it.
  14. My theory on the trucks is that i'd sooner be behind one then having one sniffing my arse. Other words, if i pass one i want to know i'll be able to get a good distance away from it. More then once i've seen some dumb arse race past a truck only to slow back down again or pull in between the truck and a caravan (or something else). No matter if the tractor unit is towing a trailer or bob tailing, the truck is going to take a lot longer to come to a stop then what a car would and i don't want to be in front when it has to hit the skids. Been there done that by accident and i have no wish to do it a second time. My supervisor won't even answer the work phone anymore.... The other day after the thing had stopped ringing he had a go at me for not answering it while it was ringing. Mind you he was closer to it. I looked at him, cocked my head to the side, looked up a little (like i was trying to listen for it) "Nope can't hear it" i received a blank look as i turned around and walked off...
  15. Your about two days too late - i chucked mine to the dump on the weekend :jamie: Might be easier for you to turn one up at work
  16. Why is it the weekends always go faster then the weekdays
  17. Woo Hoo Your back   And about bloody time i should say :)
  18. ^^ Too much "weird" internet porn
  19. Yeah true. Being able to do over 160kph in only 6inches of water up/down rapids.....
  20. There's also a spray you can get called "RH-22 Reluctor" or something. But you'll pay though the arse for a 750mL can - approx $25. It'll help to break a frozen/rusted nut. Can get it in the tool section of bunnings. Edit - if you have the access - a gas-axe (or a gas torch thing) set to just to the flame can work a treat. Heat the nut to expand it.
  21. Kincrome "Lok-on" sockets http://www.kincrome.com.au/web/catalogue/s...artnumber=K2042 http://www.kincrome.com.au/web/media/media...s=1&AID=401 The only bitch i have with them is that you have to buy them as a set at the moment But all in all this things are frigging amazing. We have a demo set at work and even the metrich socket just went around the nut where as the Lok-on held.
