The ta22 steering arm will fit the ball joint on the ke30's control arm - they use the same ball joint. But i'd say the strut will not fit the steering arm. TA22 will be wider But to be sure it wouldn't be that hard to disconnect the strut from the steering arm, lever the control arm down and see if the ta22 steering arm will fit. It'll just need some thought into how to lever the control am down.

You have PM in that case :) When it comes to doing the bulbs i'd, personally, do both and keep the old good one as a spare. In your case you only have the one. Cut springs are fairly easy to tell. When you look at a proper spring the ends will look as if they form a circle (the ends instead of still twisting around in the coil they'll be flattened down). Most times the average "hoon" wont bother with it.

Same as mine. Just make sure its not the speedo cable first. If it is the speedo itself i might be able to sling you one your way if you want. New springs - as in just to get it back up to normal height ? Do they have to be brand new ? Cause i think i've still got some stock ke30 struts floating around here with the springs. Reversing light - swap it over to the one thats working first off just to make sure it is the bulb, cause sometimes you'll find its the holder thats mucking up.

Yeah true. I think i'll be just chasing after something part time. Apart from the crap i had to put up with i did enjoy most of it. Came across one little problem today when i went to take the turtle for a spin around the block. The seat belt clips are different. Had the passing thought of cutting the buckle so that i could connect them, not something i'd do anyway. So i'll be chasing up the rest of the belts :( not something i was wanting to do but oh well. I guess i'll have more time for stuffing around on the car and the back log of odds and sods around the home that i never seam to be able to do.

Well, laid myself off from work today. Back and knee problems and it was just getting worse as the weeks moved on. So now its off to the dole line on either monday or tuesday. The AC Delco (black one) is from a Corona. Bottom shock is Ultima for the SXA10/11 RAV 4. The only mod that i had to do was grind the inside of the locking nut that holds the shock absorber in the strut And also added floor mounted seat belt clips. Piss easy, thinking i would have had to drill through the floor pan but instead all that was covering the nuts was the carpet and aluminum tape. Poke the drill bit through the tape and cut the carpet for the bolts and i was set...
