  2. well guys i hate to rain on everyones parade here but you can get a sr20det engineered into a ke20 in NSW. In the early k series you can go up to a 2.2L engine, I'm currently doin a sr20det conversion into a ke11 and have spoken to numerous engineers that have stated it wont be a problem, ive also been in touch with the rta and as long as its all engineered everything is sweet.

  6. well i suppose it really depends on the price, if there is only a few $$ difference id always go for the new one. If it is only the fuel guage thats not working theres not much else to look for

    Help

heya bud, welcome to the site hope you enjoy your time with us. As far as your gearbox question, proably something standard like a 5 speed from a ke55 ect or the t50 boxes are fairly popular
  8. :) :y: :D :lolcry: that id like to see
  9. from experience the original ke10 4 speed boxes are pretty strong you should have too much trouble from 1 or 2 races prop wouldnt last much longer than that tho
  10. that's for sure its such an intimidating site
  11. damn nice lookin profect car there bud lok forward to seeing something different from ya
  12. id say it would actuall cost more to do it that way than to get some pre moulded carpet from knox. like mentioned before 175 delivered is cheap as chips, you would proably pay in excess of 300 taking it to a trimmer to get done
  13. :D :) :y: is proably what your car is feeling
  14. 1460cc I believe? :) sounds about right Nick :y: would be a stretch tho, i wouldnt be inclined to bore it out that far myself :D
  15. agreed, non moulded carpet will never fix or sit nicely (i know this from personal experience) you can always try to mould the carpet using a steamer ect but you will never get a nice fit. As far as removing the glue on the under side that's whats is holding the moulding in place and i don't think you will be able to remove it without destroying the original carpet to use as a template
  16. mods sticky???? damn good reference guide
  17. also be careful not to overload the leaf otherwise you will destroy the structural integrity of them and be yup for buying some new ones
  18. i didnt have any problems with gettin the window winders on the spline, fitted nicely ;)
  19. rofl good call
  20. ;) :P ;) :P :lolcry: :bash: :sob: thats all i have to say about that :hmm:
  21. 12" clarion sub and jvc amp and of course the rolla club sticker
  22. Been a while since i updated this thread, added a few things since i started this one added some new number plates ( seems to fit nicely ;) ) a few extras here saas sports whel saas gear knob tacho sports pedals new window winders kenwood head unit
  23. lol no offence taken if you take your time like i did and can use a sewing machine you wont notice the difference ;) . And yes in the older models the roof lining goes under the windscreens so for a proper job they need to be removed.
  24. :D :P :D :rocknroll: :rocknroll: tooooooooo true
  25. spotlight :D (and I'm dead serious here) the old rollas are simple as to change the roof lining all you need is a sewing machine the material you wanna use and front and rear window rubbers. I done my old ke10 that way and am planning on doing my ke11 the same way.
