Where do you get your bits over here? I've found Imparts to be reasonable locally for europarts for the E32. Yea, I guess the cookie cutters are pretty common on the 911s. Those ebay ones are ok, but I do prefer the ones you already have. You should mod your ke16 to take the fuchs once you get some new rims. :hmm: That'd be different. Do a bit of a resto/rusto-cal thing on the 16, like what they do with the type 3 squarebacks. :jamie:

Hiro, those AE102's are pretty big. Would have to have as much room or more in them than the earlier camry's. Packaging has gotten a lot better over the years, also small cars have gotten a lot bigger. LOL, the EH holden I had which would have been considered a large aussie family car in its' the time, would have been much the same size (and weight) as the AE92/nova sedan we had for a bit.

I used to have a ke30 2 door, and the missus had a TD gemini sedan when she first got preggers. I sold the ke30 and bought an EH wagon. Later on the gemi started having issues so we got rid of it and I got my ke15 on the road for a runaround. The EH got to much so we moved to a HQ sedan, and after the missus crashed it, I got her a ke16 wagon as the kids didn't need carseats anymore. Kinda cool having a ke15 and ke16 as our drive cars for 4 years or so. We later on deregistered the ke16 (got too small) and the missus got a gen 1 subaru liberty wagon. My ke15 came off the road and 6 months or so ago I got myself an E32 BMW for my drive car and a cool comfy family cruiser for the weekends. I can't stand everyday cars like commodores and falcons. Recently the Subaru died so the missus now drives a neat little 87 swb turbo diesel Pajero. The ke15 is planned to come out of semi retirement later after some work for weekend motorsport duties (motorkhanas and stuff to teach the kids to drive in a safe environment) and a bit of running around.

What car are you gonna drive when your pecker finally kicks a goal, and your missus spits out a ruggie? A little rolla will get awfully small real fast trying to fit in a baby seat (or two), a pram and all the other shit that goes with them. Or if you already have kids, what do you drive your family around in?

I'm not a fan of commodores, but can respect the fact that he has actually gone out of his way to improve the performance. Most tryhard dicks tend to go for visual look-at-me mods and fall short of making theirs go quicker (not just with commodores).

The 5k in it now is even quicker. 700 odd kgs of car doesn't really need a huge amount of power to generate respectable performance. Fortunately I live in the country these days and am not tempted to do stupid shit like that to potentially lose my license.

I like them. Gives the car a tough, purposeful, fattened stock look. Refreshing compared to all the jap rims (for the JDM look) that gets done time and time again.

Yea, I quite like the cookie cutters myself. Mini/Super-lites are so overdone these days. I remember a time when only classic british 60's cars (minis, triumphs, mgs, Mk1 cortys) ran that style of rim. Now they get put on anything and everything.

To go through insurance the other guy needs to be covered or Evan needs comprehensive (unless he has 3rd party coverage where his company will cover him if the other guy is uninsured). There would need to be police statements that the other driver was at fault. I'd be making a claim against the other driver through his insurance company.

Not good man. Sorry to hear about your cars demise. Were you still running that big swaybar on the back? If so I think it has a lot to answer for in the way it made your car want to loop once you got it sideways in your vid... let alone swerving to avoid another car.
