I work for Yellow cabs now and working 6 days a week, And the car is at my parants house abd i live with my girlfriend now so i don't see the car much anymore. I have about $5,000 worth of tools now which is good i guess, Still stock piling money and little bits for the car like new brakes/bushes etc. So it will have: Rebuilt high compression engine = Half a tick. New struts and bushes all round = Tick. New tires = Tick. New rotors, Pads and wheel bearings = Get them soonish. CV shafts = Get them soonish. And a new sound system = Tick. I also want to get the car painted back to its original red and fit a better front bar but that isnt really a necesity to get it back on the road so meh it can wait a bit. The ever awesome Des and the missus. Oh and to the people that have met me before the fro is back :)

I think a 4G32 is a waste of time, My 4k went harder and was quicker. My mates 2.0 sigma does 120kph in 2nd and its stock, Does a flat 18s 1/4 mile pass and it completely stock with gearbox rattles. 2.6's have torque. In stock form 6,500 rpm seems to be the max. They pull around 1400kg pajero's and nearly 2000kg of car trailer and car allright.

My 3tc with a weber and extractors goes quite well for its age and has plenty of midrange torque. I'd go with the 3t but i have only driven a car with a 2t once and it was shit from neglect. My 3tc would do a stand still skid in 2nd but thats flogging the ring out of it.

Check for cracks in the clutch fork, Could be bent. The tend to crack around the were the ball sits. Also make sure the ball is there.

Beerhead on these forums is good at wiring, He can do 4age conversion wiring etc and his work is pretty clean, Plus he is an awesome bloke.
