22r's are HUGE in the states, 200hp crate motors are common. You can buy a whole rebuild kit with all seals, gaskets, chain, pistons, new head, rods, crank and block for just on $1,000 US. You can also get timing chain kits and with new timing covers and gears for $60 US. Postage isn't that expensive either if you get a lot of shit at one. Ebay USA.

Rear plugs are iridium and the front are conventional plugs from factory. The only electrical issues I've known them to commonly have is the car loosing the codes for the keys and remotes and having to reprogram them. Like Trev said keep the maintenance up and they are fine for a fwd 6 cylinder.

If you go 4age with carbies you will need to either lock the timing or get something to control timing advance as there is no ecu.

Hey Hey, I need some measurements for the latest drag project. I have the engine, box and diff i just need a shell to put it into. So can some measure up their ke70 for me ? I need measurements from the fire wall to rad support panel, between the two strut towers and from the crossmember to underneith the bonnet. If the ke70 is too small i may need to go to a rt142 but id rather a ke70.

I have bluepoint flexible head ones and they flop around and it shits me off, I like my SP set over the bluepoint set.

Hey Hey, I put my wheels off my ae82 twincam on my daewoo cielo and there is always a vibration at 100kph like the wheels are unbalanced. They're 15x6 and 195/50/R15 and a tire shop my boss and my self have balanced them and the vibration is still there but its only there with these wheels and tires. When i fitted them they fit fine on the studs and they are the same stud pattern. Any ideas

Sounds like the switch on the steering column is buggered. Go to a wreckers or find another combination switch. 87 would be Ae82, Ke70 stopped production in 84 or 85 i think.
