  1. I have a 69 KE10 and it has only front seatbelts. I think rears were available as an option. Personally I wouldn't be fitting seatbelts if I didn't have to.
  2. As far as I'm aware, no you can't modify the firewall and have it legal.
  3. Yes mate, I've seen 15's at the wreckers and owned/own 13's and 14's. I think they may be 4.5 to 5' wide. Easily widened by a competent welder/wheel shop just like having yours welded and redrilled. Having said that, 4.5 - 5' wide is plenty if you plan to use whitewalls as they're not available in decent widths anyway.
  4. Just remember, in Queensland it is illegal to cut your firewall.
  5. Mazda vans also had steelies in 13, 14 and 15'.
  6. I'd probably go something bigger. I've got a 13cfm 15 amp compressor and it runs everything well but it did struggle a bit with a larger rattle gun. It's an ABAC brand, 3HP, 50L, 13CFM I picked up for $550 down from $799.
  7. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say they may well be factory. I think some of the brochures I have show them fitted. I'll have to have a look and see if I can dig them up.
  8. $1000 for the set. Only joking, they should go in an envelope so postage should be cheap enough. They're free but let's say $10 for postage and my time?
  9. I'm surprised I actually found them. Are the springs side specific because I could only get one side off?
  10. I should have what you're looking for. I'll see if I can dig it out of the shed, I'm just hoping I didn't bin them. Perhaps you should send me a PM sometime to remind me.
  11. I've wondered this for a KE10 myself...
  12. I have an original KE10 box here I won't be using. Unknown condition and I may be too far away to make it worthwhile trying...
  13. I find it strange that hooning is considered worse than drink driving. Shouldn't drink drivers have their cars crushed?
  14. Pic of before?
  15. Nice story Hansel...
  16. Perhaps you should have been more specific initially. These steelies are similar and come in 4 x 110. http://www.ausrotary...p?f=48&t=202212
  17. I guess it depends on what sort of steelies you want. There are a few people here who have had rims professionally redrilled with no problems.
  18. You don't need to change stud pattern to fit bigger steelies...
  19. I own a couple of those. They come up on ebay pretty cheap from time to time.
  20. If it doesn't require a RWC snap that sucker up and just drive it in to the ground. I snagged myself a twincam AE82 for $235, was $250 but I found $15 in the ashtray. Sure it's got a few things wrong but i drive it to and from work and it sits in the sun all day. I couldn't ask for a better car for such duties.
  21. Front and rear seat belts were made compulsory in 1970.
  22. My 1969 doesn't have them.
  23. In that case Jono I don't think they'd worry about the track more so the legalities of the wheel outside the guard.
  24. I may have two originals at home. I'll have a look and see if I can't find one.
  25. From memory there is a screw or two in the channel of the quarter glass. It's been a while since i did it...
