  1. Nice work NOBS :) You may have to hassle Graeme about club rego rather than Cliff as he has his hands full at the moment.
  2. Hey Josh, spotted this for your old man today ;)
  3. That's exactly what I had in mind JP ;) Anyone on here got something suitable?
  4. Unsure of offset but in a 15 x 7 they only make two offsets and they are the datto offset. Here are some pics from today.
  5. *Small update* Started back at work this week (where the car currently sits) and have been either way too busy to look at it or the weather simply said "NO!". However this arvo it cleared up and although it was too late to do anything on the motor sides of things I repainted the grille with red highlights :) Next is to get a bumper for her and front lip spoiler of some description. (and of course rebuild it)
  6. Been on there for a while mate ;)
  7. Lmao yeh it must of been the one. Couldn't see the wheels because I was going in the opposite direction but it had no rear bar :)
  8. Spotted a baby blue AE71 wags on Bell St in Coburg after dinner. Looked cool as it was dumped on some semi dish wheels :)
  9. Nice work Ben. As the late Big Kev once said "I'm Excited!".
  10. You should give those red mirrors a 'rising sun' treatment asap!
  11. This is awesome! Great score hendo and I look forward to it's progress :)
  12. Hendo, what colour was the tincan?
  13. Good stuff. Excitement of painting Ollie must be getting unbearable!
  14.
  15. Good stuff Boo. Should put a cam in it :P (jumping on the bandwagon) Will be a sweet little ride when it's in.
  16. Lulz. Good that you made a build thread finally but there are just as many photos of my cars in here as yours! Pm irokin about your prize. Now we are expecting updates regularly with this build :)
  17. Congrats on the Xmas pressie. Now get painting!
  18. Haha thanks Stu. It'll probably be more fun to wring the neck out of then the Datto 200. Funny you mention the shed, as it seems this recent purchase is the final straw for the old man and will be staying outside! Might invest in some tarp from Bunnings me thinks. Oh and I got the gearknob back on it today. Things can never be a straight fit can they? It seems someone 'modified' the thread on the stick. All sorted now at least.
  19. I wouldn't chose FWD intentionally but it wont pose a problem for a little lightweight, well set up car with only moderate power. FWD generally poses a problem when some decent power and weight is thrown in. So I can't see it being a problem for me. But... if only I could have got an ae86 with twincam in similar condition for the same price!
  20. Just re-hone the bores, new bearings, new rings and run a gasket set through it. Should be nice and reliable this way. BTW Jarrad you might have me on the straights but you'll be breathing 4AGE fumes in the twisties :P
  21. lol I've had plenty of cars but this is my first fwd!
  22. So here is the recent addition to the stable. A 1986 AE82 Twincam that cost me $200. Basically saved it from the scrapper and the plan is to use it as a club car in events such as hillclimbs and motorkhanas. Car was cheap as it is unregistered and motor is in pieces as it was cooked by the previous owner. All the bits are there but in the boot and interior has been ripped apart as he took out his stereo. Definitely get stuck into it next year when I get back from holidays. Once I have it running i'll strip it out get club reg and see what it can do/how long it will last on the track! Here are some pics. P.S. everyone knows that red is faster :) the hektik dori-dori battle scars Weight reduction begins!
  23. :) Engine bay looks tops in black mate! Done anything on the tuning sides of things?
  24. Great work Angelo, I love it! Will sandwich type filters like the ones on my gold car fit with your set up? They don't look as cool but if they do fit it's alot easier than fabricating a new intake manifold. Matt.
  25. Glad you got the carby stuff sorted mate. So glad it's almost on the road! Congratulations on a fine effort :)
