Starting to plan the next few things. I'm looking at getting this airbox from Jenvey, along with the 50mm baseplate. Total cost is around $400 plus freight for the box and baseplate. They are pretty much the only thing I can find off the shelf to fit the trumpets which are 96mm approx. I need to mod the diff housing to bolt in to the car, have the centre fitted, and find some corona rear brakes from the wreckers. Then the rear end will be perfect. I guess there's still the best part of $800 to spend on the rear. Also need a custom drive shaft. I'm budgeting around $450 for this. Ill have a one piece made. I must make a visit to the wreckers and find a celica thermofan arrangement. Id ideally like to see a near complete 99-04 celica to study the cooling system. Any Brisbane people seen a last gen celica at the wreckers lately?

It takes someone to get the wheels in motion. I have faith that scamcatcher is doing the right thing. Plus he is interstate from Mickey so minimal risk of any violence or other such concerns. I think the Police are the main motivation.

Scamcatcher is now verified as a legitimate concerned scam victims father who is gathering information for the Police report. I spoke to him on the phone, seems legit, his son was ripped off over a pedal box deal.

Mickey phoned me this evening and made an offer of paying everyone back. He expressed regret and a willingness to pay everyone back. He wanted to know how to do so. I suggested he identify himself and be honest. I assume its something to do with the people who have expressed desire in recent days to make police reports. I would ask the person who has signed up as 'scamcatcher' to pm me with your identity please. When you are sitting still, yes, but once moving the pressure of the air rushing over the car forces a draft into it and the hot air gets sucked out from under the car. Think about how the inlets for the ventilation system work. They are right in front of the screen and they get ample air pushed through them, so this opening can accept air in the same way from the air stream.

Vented rotors which would mean jdm ae86. Adm will have the number 2014 on the caliper, jdm is 2022 I think.

Fogging up? Not really an issue. Yes its big. The drops that drip over the back of it in the rain get sucked down it on the highway so the air is going down that way. Inlet temp never gets over 31 degrees when sitting at the lights, and then drops to about ambient with a few miles on the highway. So it works. I just don't know how Ill go living with it. I will have to paint the bonnet and scoop as one to clean up the look of it.

Oh and the radiator is pictured upside down for some reason.

Its going to require some light customising of the radiator support but allow me to bring is some air aswell as its not a super tall unit. Means I will relocate the battery and use some of the space where the tray is. Need to find a pair of stock celica thermos from a 2zz powered car. Also the overflow bottle would be good.
