So who knows of someone worthy of modifying my diff mounts? I need to get the shell rolling on the MK2 Rona diff asap. Then I can spin it around, rip out the 4age and t50 thats in the car and test fit the engine and trans in the complete chassis. Then Ill have to tow it over to the bloke who is making the headers for it and then to the tailshaft place I guess. I still desperately need to find cooling system parts from a zzt230 or zzt231 celica, or a late gen MR2 with a 1zzfe. They have the same cooling setup according to toyodiy. Its just hard to find bits from such a late model car.

Ke70/ae71/te72/ae86 Similarities & Differences

Diefferent market ke70s had different strut top patterns. Gabe at Techno toy tuning was telling me about it. -
Patrick ʞ©$ɟing Swayze. I think you should call it the Swayze express in honour of Trailer park boys season 7. :wootjump:

Yes. Most people rate Toda racing camshafts if you can stomach the price. There have been a lot of not so effective camshafts available from other manufacturers from what Ive read but Toda have usually good results. Also Tomei has just released a Poncam and Pro cam setup for the 5 valve 4ag head. The Poncams have minimal setup expense and good results. Bang for buck they would be good, but not the be all and and all for peak power as they are a mild duration. Just designed to give more punch across all rpm, not so much top end only like most more aggressive camshafts.

Good signs. -
Check all your ground cables, they should be really tight and touching bare metal. It can help a lot to just remove them, clean where they contact and then do them back up.

I've probably got some bell housing bolts that will work for you if you want. Are they much the same as ae71 bh bolts?

Lucky I just washed it yesterday then. :lovin: Tonight I went to my shed and fiddled with the car. I refitted the missing glovebox and kick panel, fitted a left side mirror after I broke the old one right off, and re-upholstered the left A pillar trim with matching brown vinyl. I have also adjusted the handbrake a little, and polished the wheels. I'm thinking about putting a different lip on it. Maybe RA40 style. I want to try a colour matched one for a different look. I spent some time spreading the corolla love at Tims place down the road. Today we got his freshly built car from a barely start able state to running quite well. Basically just did some experiments and set the base timing. It was lean for a while then we found that the base timing was out and then we were able to get it running nice. Ive written a map from scratch for it so hopefully it drives well enough to give Tim a base to tune from with the wideband.

That one isnt quite tall enough to fit my trumpets in it with enough space around them.

I am having big problems finding the oem thermofans for the ZZT230 radiator. They are the same as ZZ series MR2 up to 05. I found this out thanks to toyo diy. I love that site, but unfortunately wrecked mr2s are even more scarce than wrecked celicas in QLD.

I can plot the data from the logs if you really want. Or I can do a log with it and give you before and after to look at. I did some more tuning, just to get a higher amount of enrichment when its running cold and you are using the throttle. It seems to need less enrichment when idling compared to once you start driving it. I also detected some pinging and wound back the timing at 36%tps vs 3000 rpm and that fixed it.

Ive already gotten a quote from Hardy spicer. $430 and in and out in one day.

Are you talking about the smaller one pictured at the top or the one further down the page, I'm afraid your post left a bit too much detail open to interpretation, maybe next time just load the actual picture url instead of the whole thread, there were about a million plenums in that thread. I looked at the bigger turbo plenum but I think it has more sticking up that will interfere with the bonnet potentially, whereas the other one I could save a little more height I think.

He was responding to my comment about how people don't trust him enough to give him their bank info for a refund. At this point I want to remind everyone that you should only post here is you have been scammed. -

Point is Mickey, we don't trust you or believe a word you say. Most likely the reason only 3 people have sent their info for a refund is they don't trust a scammer with their personal info. Once you start paying people back more people will trust you enough to attempt to get a refund. Oh and on behalf of everyone who has ever been unlucky enough to read something you have typed: STOP TYPING EVERYTHING IN CAPITALS WITHOUT PUNCTUATION ITS OBNOXIOUS ALREADY. -
Got the images to work, Its the one I thought it was, Id like more volume and my trumpets are almost 100mm long so the plenum needs to be longer. With the 50mm baseplate I can get up to 140mm space inside the box.

I can't open the images on your link to the honda forum man. I'm not a member. I took a guess at which one it was (was looking at it last night), if it has an inlet squarely at one end its not going to flow right.

I honestly think your whole family is in on it, and would be lucky to escape the grip of the law as well. I can't believe that a person living under mum and dads roof could scam thousands of dollars and their mum and dad not know about it. All the calls for parts your mum must have taken. They must have noticed you doing a lot of selling, taking calls, lots of emails and being flush with cash all of a sudden. Not buying into your excuses. Whatever other problems you have are your business. Not able to feel sympathy for your kind. Why exactly did you feel inclined to rip off so many good people? -
Any turbo plenum is a bad idea for NA as they most always rely on boost to force the right amount of air into each port, whereas an NA plenum must be able to draw in an equal amount of air to each port. Also any turbo plenum will be too small a volume. NA requires as much volume as you can practically fit. Boost wants less volume to equal more pressure and reduce lag. Its horses for courses, and I have minimal space restrictions so I can go all out and get the right design of plenum.

Mines narrower than a Hilux diff, its only 6mm wider than a ke70, unless its an rn25 diff jig, then it should work good. Let me know mate.

Ok so now everyone needs to forward all their information to Scamcatcher. Its clear that this has just been another way for Mickey to ʞ©$ɟ with us. He has offered false hope and I'm sure is laughing about all the people who he has now let down. Again this last hurrah is just more damning evidence to the Police, and establishes his undying intent to ʞ©$ɟ us all around for his own profit and amusement. Its time you all crush him with a Police report. Its all pretty damning for him once you take into account all the nasty boastful emails he has sent which clearly show an intent to defraud. With the amount of people that Mickey has ripped off, he is not in a legally defensible position so if he says he wants what is coming to him, I say dish out all you can. Id have reported him but I was not unlucky enough to be ripped off so its all on the members he has ripped off to act and make sure this never happens again. Quite frankly, if the victims of this scam don't act on this with the Police and forward their details to scamcatcher, then they are 100% deserving to be ripped off. By not reporting Mickey, you leave us admins and moderators in an impossible position, where we have a full-time job to find this ass holes new accounts and remove them, to protect a bunch of members that wont do anything about it anyhow even if they have the power to do so. So we end up with limitless amounts of work to do to protect people that don't care enough to protect themselves even after they get scammed. And on top of that, we are always contacted when someone gets scammed as if we should care, when the victims themselves wont even bother to make a similar level of contact with the Police to put a stop to it once and for all. So anyone who has been scammed, GO AND MAKE A POLICE REPORT. You can't honestly expect us to keep a watch on this guy if people don't back up our actions and do something. I'm not going to spend the rest of my days helping you people if you don't help yourselves. Scamcatcher so far is the only one to bother with the Police. In actual fact its within the grasp of every single victim to put Mickey under the same pressure and give him what he deserves. I mean come on the guy is about as dumb as a person can be. Sort him out already! -
Yes Justin exactly right, I want this airbox in particular. I like the idea of a flat face squarely opposing the trumpets to reflect as many pressure waves as possible down the ports. I saw this awesome manifold on a youtube video once of a class N rally car. It had parabolic looking faces above each trumpet opening to reflect and focus the waves down into the ports. I want to have control over air temperatues. Its going to look pretty unsleeperish with a bulging bonnet, so I want it fairly quiet also.
