    What exactly do you mean? If i were living in cold conditions, i would- 1. Make sure there is anti-freeze in your cooling system, 2.change points and plugs and reset your timing, just so that it is easier to fire up on a cold start, 3. Change the setting of your air cleaner to "winter", thats all i can think of now, cheers phatke30!

    Does the cooling system build up pressure when the engine is cold? (running of course) Checked the exhaust for coolant? Checked the radiator for bubbles? Checked under your oil cap for a milkshake?............mmmmmmm milkshake. Checked your oil for discolouration? cheers phatke30!

    The db king- i know of the route your talking about, nice drive, i could show you all a nice narrow, winding and steep road that goes from mt mee to d'aguilar, and there is plenty of parks along the way we could stop at, cheers phatke30!

    Usually dished piston 4k's have "lobes" under number 1 and 4 spark plug sockets on the cylinder head, the certain way to check, rip a plug out and shine a torch down the cylinder, cheers phatke30!

    Upon returning from jipville wreckers yesterday, i spotted a early yellow 30 on Bp road, sorry john it wasn't you :) , i gave him a toot and a wave, cheers phatke30!

    My personal picks would be aussie auto parts at margate or n&m spare parts at nothgate, both are cheaper than supercheap.

    To make life a little easier, have you tried tossing the bolts and replacing them all with studs? (obviously nuts and washers too), cheers phatke30!

    That is easily repairable!!!!!!!!!! Trust me on this one! I've had to get alot worse than that repaired before. just as an example, my local engine reconditioners would charge $11 to fix/weld that corrosion and $66 for a surface regrind, hope this helps, cheers phatke30!
