  7. Ive been told its everything other than bad, Thats why i want to get my hands on it, thanks shady. Have you looked into a product called galmet? Its a marine based rust converter and sealer all in one, can be applied to damp surfaces too. Simply paint on...........and it does the rest. Problem is you can't use it on a finishing surface, great for sill channels, pillars, behind guards that sort of stuff. cheers phatke30!
  8. Sounds like a plan!
  9. Lol! Na no problems with phat, I'm going to be stripping the 38 p/van down again, i wasnt happy with it the first time round.

  11. Hi fellow rollaclubbers, Okey doke, i'll apologise in advance.............sorry for my stupidity! For the life of me i can't remember the name of a rust converter i was recently told. Description of the rust converter is that if you have a lightly pitted/rusted surface (will be using this on a corolla roof) and apply this particular substance its draws out the rust particals imbedded in the metal surface over a period of time (eg. lets say overnight) and once satisfied with the result, just remove by wiping with a cloth. I know it starts with the letter "D". Anyone who can enlighten my retarded mind...........please do so, cheers phatke30!
  12. yeah ive seen this green early 55 aswell, mostly parked up at caboolture, sorry carlos, it doesnt have oke75 as the plates, cheers phatke30!

  17. ^^^^^^^^^^^^Thats gold, just hurry up and rub one out bloke! Good progress with the car crowie, dougy know much histoy on this wagon? I'm sure i used to see a young bird driving this thing around the burpengary/ morayfield area?
  18. Is this occuring when the engine is under load or when it is free reving? Hot or cold or even both? Personally i'd be putting the stock carby back on (obviously after a good checkover for leaks? blockages?). Something as small as a minor short in your ignition system, incorrect points gap, vacuum leak, polution hoses connected incorrectly........... the list goes on. I'd hate to say but this could be one of those trial and error situations. cheers phatke30!
  19. its just a 1 piece seal that slides over the crank. simple really, remove box and flywheel and bob's your uncle (easier said than done). Make sure you remove your old seal first before purchasing a new one, there are two depths of rear main seals for a 4k. By memory one is 8 mm deep (thick) and the other is 12........... i think. cheers phatke30!
  20. its been modified to fit a 350 holly..............
