  1. Super air flow that!
  2. Thank you all! Sorry I wasn't about yesterday, although I did manage to have a quick peek last night. I'm back in Brissie again, too!
  3. Not true, but they must go into standard mounting points....
  4. I'm of the other school of thought, I don't touch swaybars until last. Good shocks and springs make the world of difference.
  5. The car shouldn't run at a higher temp just due to the air filter change, that's what a thermostat is all about. It's all in your head.
  6. And with that happy thought, *CLICK*
  7. Where is here? Knowing where you are may help us to cheat with what you can use... :)
  8. I'm home thursday if you can wait that long. Happily disassemble for you s well.
  9. Hmmmm, FAR too early to start this one! :D *CLICK*
  10. Give the man a Noddy badge. :y:
  11. I'm sure it'll fit the new wagon.... :y:
  12. Did you live in a cake?
  13. Not really, and I'd be pretty sure that if you read the supp regs, it'd say something about the car is not allowed to be "excessively loud", what ever that maybe.
  14. Is that Andre Agassi? I still think you look like Moby..... :n:
  15. The sump guard alone on Dwarf was $1000. Cage $1500, Seats $1500, Belts $1100, Motor $3000, Webers $1000, Su's $700, Extractors $600..... God where does it stop??
  16. Roll cage pipe and three big mates.
  17. I don't add up expenses. The thought is too scary. I shudder to think what a spent on the original dwarf.......
  18. It is the same corner, howver it was two different runs...
  19. A couple of short movies from KCF2. Stage 4 2.8meg And Stage 6 3.2meg (Thanks Ruts!)
  20. Okay. Update time. Took it to Rockhampton for a rally where the car misbehaved somewhat. Handled like a dog, no turn in at all until a hit a large rock, bending the lh chassis rail, and giving it 24mm of toe out. Pity about the 1.5 deg of castor in the wrong direction! Got car straightened out, lengthened the castor arms and went to KCF 2. Had a good run, car turned in a fashion, but was hampered by gear/ diff ratio issues. 10 th O/r, 3rd in class. Very happy with the result, as I didn't expect it to be this quick this early. Have now got hold of a pair of Lower control arms (thanks Simon!)which we are in the process of rose jointing to help out the front end some more. My 4.77 diff gears arrived the other day from NZ (thanks Tony!) and will go into the car next week. Car was dyno'd on Monday night to try and pick up some mid range. Dynoman suggested a change in extractor design, as my 4-1's are apparently mid range unfriendly. After next rally I think. Final results were 105hp @ 7000 rpm. With a 30% drivetrain loss, that's around 150 flywheel neddies. I'm happy with that for now, but hopefully i'll pick up some mid range with the pipes, as it only has 60hp @ 4000. Still sorting it all out......... Can I get a couple of movies hosted somewhere? :P
  21. :P There you are, Doug... :rocknroll:
  22. Call Mr. Plow, That's my name, That name again is Mr. Plow.
  23. I use NPC clutchs in the rally cars. (Supplied). Work very well. Jim Berry is a guru also, but can be expensive. I don't know about direct, I've had no dealings with them. R
  24. OT again. My favourite car mag has unfortunately stopped being published, although they have started up a new mag that isn't as good. It was an Engish mag called Car and Car Conversions. Continually the best car and tech sections I've read. Sad it's gone. :P
  25. I know. I was only giving you an idea of price. Trust me, drop into a paint shop, they're usually very helpful.
